Prediction Comments

Predictions: 5 of 5 Winners, 2 Perfect, 380 Points   |   Tied for 48th with 49 others

Nickal vs. Beard
Bo Nickal, SUB, R1
Nickal is the obvious pick because he might end up being one of the greatest of all time, but Beard is very good and will be a serious step up in competition. Especially at nearly 1:10 odds I would bet at least something on Beard. He showed durability and cardio winning his last fight by 4th round sub, and his opponent was undefeated and had a victory over Sedrique Dumas.

Patterson vs. Cenci
Sam Patterson, SUB, R2

Anyone else having a hard time deciding if this will be a card of all the favorites getting their finishes or picking 2-3 decision upsets?

Statistically speaking usually its 1 or 2 dogs per card .  Very strange its all favorites wining so the dogs are João Elias and  Vinicius Cenci , for me I'm only picking one dog....Cenci ..I just cant see Jack Jenkins    coming all the way from Australia to loss this one and its much taller so I dont know

Statistically there should be 2 upsets. If all the favourites win this season will have the highest favourite win rate of any season. There have already been 3 weeks of all favourites (I think) so who's to say it won't happen again though.

You're right about at least 1-2 underdogs, but I just cant ignore my gut.  Oddly enough I feel the most unsure of Jack Jenkins. Jenkins looks a little slow and overcalculated in a couple of his fights (Probably because they were championship fights) and Linares keeps his hands real low for a striker that isn't super fast either.

Not saying they’re going to win but the two dogs who do have the best chances of winning are Cenci and Linares, if you have some extra lunch money you should throw it on both of them because the pay off will be worth it considering how high their lines are right now.

I saw interviews where Jenkins talks about his low output. He said that was because they were 5 round championship fights and he will be more aggressive here. He looks like the real deal. Linares striking looks sloppy and unpolished. He can wrestle but his BJJ and ground control sucks. Don't see where Jenkins loses this.

You have a stupid user name btw

Let me ask all you MMA experts the only real question on this card. Will Bo Nikal finish under 1.5 or will it go over?

I wish I knew what Gianni the **** is picking.

Jenkins is a better mma fighter, but giving up a nice height advantage and dealing with someone who comes forward w non stop pressure. I love seeing how super technical fighters handle unorthodox pressure. One to look out for. If we haven’t learned anything from the past few weeks… the guys who were always concerned about because we can’t find film, or they haven’t fought in a couple of years tend to deliver on DWCS. Watch censi. I remember how Cameron VanCamp looked at 6’2 155. Can you imagine 6’4? Sheeeeeesh

Bo Nickal subs this guy in under a round IMO.

Also really like Jenkins, I saw someone else say he's a can crusher but Linares is fighting pretty low level comp as well. Jenkins also fought at 155 before whereas Linares has fought at 135 so I believe Jenkins size/ strength should help him stuff TD's.

I agree with Rah that Linares grappling isn't that special, I've seen him lose back control many times against much worse comp. Jenkins sprawls are decent and he's smart enough to not mess around on the ground.

Nickal vs. Beard
Bo Nickal, SUB
Nickal should win this , but I got a feeling this isn't gonna be an under 1.5 fight .

Ajim vs. Mendonça
Mateus Mendonça, TKO
Pick is Mendonca but I think Ajim can win early
