Taking Jacobi. Lane went four rounds with Juan Adams. And oh my gosh is Adams terrible; he got torched by Matheus Scheffel. And please do not say that’s a respectable L. It’s hard to ready HW but I’m for sure betting against Lane.

I would be worried to bet on Josh Wick, short notice and he's fighting someone with an insane freestyle wrestling background. The guy he's fighting once showed up to watch a wrestling tournament and then there was an open spot last minute, so they invited him to join and then he won. I think he's also a master of sport.

Dude's going to grind out Josh. Of course Josh always has a punchers chance, but I think he's going to get put on the mat pretty fast.

I really don’t know why aliev was signed. He’s probably not getting a contract given his style. If the whole point is to impress Dana why would you sign a wrestler who decisions everyone

Either Aliev was supposed to be fed to the guy he was scheduled to fight originaly or he has some great connections. From all i seen he dose not even attempt to pass guard. I hope Wick can catch him in a slick sub. Im a bit tired of the Russian wrestler invasion

His original opponent was nair melikyan who was a 11-0 kickboxer. He had a padded record so I’m assuming they wanted aliev to win. Maybe they wanted to see if he could finish a pure striker? Idk it’s weird . I think he’s talented but so strange they signed him. He got booked to fight a can in LFA and almost instantly his fight was cancelled and they signed him to the ufc. They must really like him for some reason

Rosas Jr. vs. Gutierrez

There's a lot of hype around Rosas, Jr. and it's making people ignore Gutierrez, who has been one of my favorite prospects for a few years now. Rosas hasn't faced any real test since he's been fighting regional debutants whereas Gutierrez has been fighting in LFA. I think the experience difference will matter, and Gutierrez will aggressively find the back and sink in a choke like he usually does.

Sherdog has like 6 amateur fights listed. 4/6 by submission. All in round 1. Also has 4 fights this year already. Mando was choked out by Mo. His only ever submission win and he has mid level JJ. Think Raul is better everywhere.

Only fight I'm torn on is Lane and Richard. I think betting ITD is the safest bet. Lane worries me because he's been KOd 3 times already and Richard worries me because he went to a Draw with an absolute can. I think lane steamrolls , but idk.

I agree, the ufc is giving him a step up that is still very winnable for him. Mando is a good grappler but he does struggle against better wrestlers, which we saw in the mo fight. Obviously, mo and rosas are not on the same level (at least of what we know) but it shows a path to victory. And obviously, rosas is a wrestler so this is a test to see if he can hang with legit competition. He’s looked really strong thus far but we will have to see
