It's kind of hard to explain why this happens with LFA, but there is an actual reason. The LFA has a registered account here and they post their event schedule directly to Tapology. Lots of regional promotions do this, but UFC, Bellator, PFL don't do this.

When a registered promoter posts their own event, by default the Tapology pick deadline is set to be much earlier than for other events. This is because registered promoters are not always very careful about data entry, and we don't always trust that they entered the correct time of day for when the event starts. So as a safeguard against registered promoters accidentally bungling the start time, the pick deadlines are automatically given an extra buffer.

For better or worse, that's why it keeps happening to LFA.
