This is the thread we will come to discuss the MVP race as well as the championship, it is also the thread I will update everything in. Just so the captains know. Everyone who is currently and will join Tapology in the future are free agents. Someone on your team stops coming or just isn't producing? Drop him and pick someone up to improve your team! Ok.. so the sheets @Wake posted was an example of what the updated contests will look like in the future? 

Haugemachine didn't make any picks for this weekend contest so I might have to drop him before we start if he doesnt make any more.

What I did was just an example  of what I thought would be cool. 
But I'm not in charge of this league, I don't even know how the scoring works.

why do we start with ufc 141? wouldn't it make more sense to start with the first event in 2012?

I think it was Wolf that brought up December 29th 2012 is a Saturday and will most likely have an event so that would give us pretty much a complete year of events December 30th 2011- December 29th-2012

BTW guys on my team, OrangeHippo is a friend of mine, he was just over last night and said he would make alot more picks so just a heads up for my team. My pick wasn't made without consideration haha. 

Also great job wake, this will make the standings really easy to keep track off.

@wake omg dude if you could do that each work and it's not too much work for you I would loooooooooooooooove that so much. That would take care of everything other than adding the team totals and the MVP list which is something I will have to do manually.

Also, holy **** 4 in the top 11 and 5 in the top 20? You boys have no ******* chance to beat us. Pretty sure everyone on our team picks every fight.

@messiah I know that me, you and jaykool pick every fight, and I know that MMApicker doesn't.  Other than that I'm not sure.

It's really not much trouble, I can post those kind of rankings when the weekend contests are over.

But can you explain to me what you need/want? I don't really know the rules and how the points works.

Im pretty sure the rule is that the team with the most total weekend points by the end of 2012 wil lbe the winners.

@wake pretty much exactly what you did. The only way they score points for their team is if they show up on your top 200 leaderboard. The only thing would be is if you could add a team total or something at the bottom that calculated a total. But if it's something extra you'd have to do, don't worry about it. But pretty much your example is exactly what I want.

That's what I thought. My other guess was based on the weekend contest position. You have 100 points for winning, 99 points for 2nd.... 1 point for 100.
