@ clarkir fair ranking but thiago is too high at 5 imo

i put bones jones a lot higher than most people b/c i think that if you rank based on ACTUAL ability (i.e. who would win the fight) and not on cage accomplishment, things look a lot different.  in fact i might even put him over evans in terms of who is superior right at this minute.

feijao i think would beat a lot of top UFCers right now.  if he handled king mo's wrestling he would handle bader and phil davis.

Soszynski at #3?  Are you a big fan of his?   He's obviously not the 3rd best LHW in the UFC...

I have Jon Jones ahead of Rashad because he's the one fighting for the light heavyweight title now and Rashad has been out of action for almost a year and is now nursing an injury that will probably keep him out of action for at least a couple more months.  I'm a big Rashad Evans fan too so it's not a biased choice.  I also believe Jones is going to beat Shogun so might as well have him right there ready to take the first spot..

Yaspaa straight to #1 with Bones huh?  I think he'll win the fight but for now I'll hold Bones at #2, seems appropriate to me.

Yeah Jon Jones seem like he can evolve into ten times the fighter he is now. I wont be suprised if he picks apart Rua..

@pridelessWhat are you, an inmate? You clearly made your picks based off of your subjective, nostalgia induced opinions on these fighters. If you honestly think that this is the hierarchy of skilled fighters in the light heavyweight division...then you seriously need to reevaluate your standards of analysis.

Shogun is still our consensus #1 LHW? some people need to step their game up as much as it pains me to say it

@brewyn we're also thinking about ways to make the rankings not take into account user info that is old and hasn't been updated in a long time.  a little tricky but i think we can figure out a good system.

Every user should be updating their own rankings at least once a month and/or after every major event.  I'll be updating mine again after the April UFC.

@BeastMaster.. our rankings are pretty darn similar... I took Thiago out after the failed test and have Lil Nog in.  I also put in Henderson over Franklin... but damn I hated doing it ;).
