Prediction: Pettis  |  KO/TKO  |  Round 3

Pettis nearly as much picked as Guillard was! Lauzon could pull it off against the odds again! But I doubt it, Pettis tko after Lauzon gasses.

I would love to see Lauzon win, but as long as Pettis fights smart in that first round, I think he'll take over the fight and win a decision.

This fight really dosen't interest me past a casual look. I don't like J-Lau and Pettis failed to live up to the ablities he showed on beating Bendo.

@mystical How do you not like J-Lau? I think this fight is gonna be FOTN, or at least has a good chance to be. Both guys have exciting stand-up and great ground games.

J-Lau just irratates me for some reason. I think it's because he's quite inconsistent.

I honestly like both these guys so much. I would like to see Lauzon win, but I would hate to see Pettis go 1-2 in the UFC. I will say Pettis by decision for now. But dont be surprised if tomorrow it says Lauzon. I will be switching this ALOT before the fight.

Pettis will try some crazy kick that will make everyone gasp and then J-Lau will take him down and sub him. Pettis is a bit overated imo.

Im not gonna argue. Its your opinion, but his fight with Ben Henderson will go down as one of the best MMA fights of all time. Is there a reason why you think he is overrated or are you just not a fan?

I'm a big fan of both fighters, but I don't think lightning will strike twice for Lauzon.  Pettis takes the exciting decision.

i doubt j-lau gets the tap pettis has a pretty good sub defense, i think pettis picks him apart on the feet. also how can you not like this guy his ufc appearances so far weren't that exciting but he is still one of my favorite fighters and i think after this fight he'll have some more fans those who didn't watch the wec probably.

Omg can't wait for this fight!!  I love Lauzon and I'm not very fond of Pettis.  I think Lauzon submits him in the first round and shocks the world yet again.

His win over Bendo was awesome. Pettis has a long way to go though. People are so quick to annoint a guy based off one fight or a few crazy kicks. So far in the UFC he's lost to Guida and won a split over Stephens. Both very tough fights and we'll see how this fight with Lauzon plays out. It's like the Guillard syndrome. Give him the props after they prove themselves that's all I'm saying.

Im picking underdog Lauzon again just like the Guillard fight.  Cant believe how much of an underdog he is.  His wrestling and striking is under rated, and we all saw what guida did to pettis right?  Lauzon fights with pure ferocity.
