I'm just going to post a ton of Matt Serra videos here.  Not only is Serra an awesome fighter, he's hilarious.  The guy should have his own TV show.

When Serra won the title, I literally saw stars I was so shocked.  Not to bring it up in every thread that has to do with Matt, but I had the privilege of meeting, training, and hanging out with him for a weekend up in Long Island several years ago.  It was actually right after his fight against Jeff Curran, and before his fight with Ivan Menjivar.  To see Serra win the belt in such amazing fashion was an awesome thing.  Serra is a class act.  Glad to see so many other people like him as much as I do.

I would have to say that he's probably my favorite fighter in an interview. Always joking and very funny.

A little belated, but I figured I'd put this TTT in light of Serra's recent retirement.

Almost forgot about this thread.  Much love to Matt Serra!  Hate to see him leave the sport, but I know that he'll be involved in one capacity or another.

Funny video of Serra getting some advice from Rich Franklin on TUF.

I will always appreciate him for the best upset ever, making GSP tap to strikes.

All I'll remember of Matt Serra is...

"THERE YOU GO DRAGO!"
"DRAGO, GET YA HANDS UP"
"DRAGO, DRAGO, DRAGO!" ( to Pete Sell in that THICK NE accent)

Seriously...watch him coaching Pete Sell in TUF 4 : The Comback

On a lighter note, in that same show, when Shonie Carter gave him another spinning back fist(ala the first way he TKO'd him), he shrugs it off and goes "All Day, Baby"....CLASSIC!

Serra is one of the guys that make me love this sport so much. Really undersized guy with a ton of heart and a deep love for pasta. Not to mention he pulled off the biggest upset in the history of the UFC

"Ohhhhhhhh ****! Look at that door, dude. See that door there? The one marked "Pirate"? You think a pirate lives in there?"

The world will certainly remember that GSP has an average chin...which is why now he works so hard to neutralize his opponents striking range and skill
