gotta pick a sub or two and this seems like the right fight to do so. unless pettis really stings chiesa with body kicks, he's not gonna get much space.

Man I don't think he has the frame to hang at ww. But so many guys are benefiting from moving up that it's hard to say. Whittaker goes from getting finished by Wonderboy to arguably the best fighter in the world. Rda lost 2 in a row, and then he goes on a run that puts him in a title shot.  Cowboy became a contender at WW too. It's crazy how different these guys are looking after not cutting as much weight. Not to mention Conor looked a million times better at LW. He looked near death at FW.

Good point but I’m looking at their ways to win stylistically and for a guy who takes damage to get inside vs smaller competition and is known to drag to the ground grapple I can’t him doing well vs legit comp. 

I don’t see him as a well rounded fighter

Yeah, I don't like his chances against the top level welterweights at all. He'll probably still run game on mid tier welterweights though.

i think pettis can keep it standing and maybe hopefully use his kicks well his bixing seems to be degrading but i hope its not now  if he get taken down he could get some stuff off on bottom but i don't know honestly this is not a confident pick at all its a close fight imo i just really want pettis to win lmao

Picked Chiesa because Pettis didn't look so good either and I feel if he's ever in any trouble he can bail himself out with a takedown. But God I hope I'm wrong. I can't stand Chiesa he's such a tool I hope Showtime proves me wrong.
