I love music and like to see what everyone else likes, I like pretty much all types of music.

So what are you guys listening to?

Right now I'm listening to "AssMilk" by Tyler the Creator feat. Earl Sweatshirt - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgyWFVfnZ-k

I listened to Pantera before Cowboys from Hell. I cringed every second of the song.

@nogfan

They had 4 albums before Cowboys From Hell. Some of it was really solid and some of it not so much. Funny thing is, they were named "Flower" before releasing any of those albums. Phil Anselmo actually joined on the '88 album "Power Metal". Personally, I think it's the best Pantera album and Phil's greatest performance. Of course, tracks like "Cemetery Gates" are tough to compete with:

Pantera are without a doubt one of my favourite metal bands of all time but I can't say I'm a fan of any of their pre Cowboys From Hell stuff...

But then again the big hair, wailing & spandex of 80s metal was never my kinda thing, I was more of a 90s kid when it came to metal - Pantera, Machine Head, Fear Factory, Sepultura, Metallica, RATM, Alice In Chains, Korn's First two albums etc

@Greenhornet553 - You Can't go wrong with Still D.R.E, will always be one of the Iconic songs of Hip Hop...

I heard Dre's new album Compton a couple of days ago tho & Must admit, it wasn't my sorta thing..

It seems over the last 10 or 15 years of Hip Hop (mainstream in particular) it went from dark & cold tales of hardship; guns, drugs, gangs & hustlin' into the glitzy, glamour, expensive high life of champagne, clubs, fast cars & b*tches

I know which I prefer

@subscape Agreed.  Outside of the underground artists, most rap nowadays is utter garbage; especially the stuff put out by mainstream record companies.
