I found the best way to get decent followers is being first to the punch. Follow members who have the same pattern of participation on the site.. whether it be picking all events/picking percentage/forum activity/forum quality.

I didn't get any follows, or very few until I started playing in Big League Chew (BLC). It helps to compete in things besides just picking fights, BLC, Last One Standing, AV/Sig bets etc. Also post more.

Just being honest, the following/follower concept didn't quite work properly and it's not a big part of our long term plans for the website. It won't just disappear, but it will likely get modified into something more practical at some point.

I would love to have some sort of 'groups' where I can organize the people I follow. I sent this as a suggestion a long time ago (the past 8 months since I've been on the site), but it was ignored and made me cry.

@Gregory i think the follow feature doesnt work that well because of the front page.
i, for one, make my "TAPOLOGY MMA FEED" always be at the "Forum" option.
if there was a dedicated part that was like "recent posts from people you follow" so i can have both side by side or one on top of the other, that would make the feature more useful imo.

@shot nothing is ever ignored! we literally have so many competing priorities that unfortunately only like 1 out of every 20 features that we want will get built.
