Upset of the Year: You have to seriously consider sending the whitecoats after anyone (znick) who doesn't have Bisping over Rockhold

Comeback of the Year: All the choices listed are very good. Tate's because it was a title fight although she was hardly being dominated, just kept out of her area of strength by a "champ" who had decided that winning by decision was good enough. That made this to me one of the best moments of the year. Can't stand fighters whose intent is to win by decision. My choice would have to be Ferguson because Lando was actually trying to (and very close to) finish the fight.

Newcomer of the Year: Has to be Lando with a special honorable mention for Garbrandt and I completely agree with mbach's rebuttal of hdmex's choice

Obviously Nunes was female FOTY although JJ does still deserve mention and male FOTY is probably the most up-in-the-air. Any of (in descending weight class order) Stipe, Bisping, Cowboy, Conor, Holloway, Garbrandt and don't forget about the longest reigning champ and #1 p4p guy.

Where everyone missed the boat is Story of the Year. USADA is only a story if you're actually surprised at the number of fighers who were caught or are going for the comedy factor in some of their excuses. What do all of the other choices have in common? That's right, Conor. Responsible for the sale price, the PPV #s, possible SOTY and Upset all at once and due to the rematch could be considered for comeback and fight, the clear favorite for tweet of the year, the biggest reason why the debut in MSG was such a success, and absolutely the best post-fight interview ever.

@mulefloyd - Easily my top two picks being Bisping vs Silva, Rockhold... On paper it's hard to argue Rockhold taking the cake. I was just a little more shocked and especially upset that Bisping walked away from the SIlva fight the victor.
