Looks like Carwin will be the last tourney entry. Or at least fighting on the card.

@rappinpap

Yes you read that right.  It gets even better.  Garcia's opponent will be age 52 and she hasn't fought in MMA since 1999 (I think).  However, when she did fight, she beat Goundarenko.

52 year old politician fighting Garcia? She's either getting paid by the Yakuza or owes them a favor.

@pillory

Or maybe, and this is just my guess, RIZIN is just having to sc**** the bottom of the barrel because they are DESPERATE to find someone to fight Garcia.

Not everything relating to JMMA has to be Yakuza related.  Besides, Japan's government is doing nationwide crackdown on the Yakuza.  It is impossible for them to do the kind of racketeering they used to do back in the 2000s back in PRIDE.  Especially in Kanto region, which is where RIZIN mainly operates.

I wasn't being totally serious but thanks for the information anyway.

Honestly RIZIN might be better off looking for smaller fighters with more skill. A half decent 145er would probably be a better match than a 52 year old who hadn't fought in 16 years.

I'm guessing Kandori was a pro wrestler, her name seems familiar and her profile picture really looks like a pro wrestling outfit. Wonder if I ever saw her wrestle...

What made u change ur mind? Wandy is out but he's replaced by a better and more relevant fighter in King Mo who won this tourney last year. Unless this event was "jiri or nothing" for you this is a better card than it was before.
