I guess Malki Kawa said it on the MMA Hour, obviously not official but a possibilty. Personally I think that would be a better pick than Wuiff or Mike freakin' Whitehead.

I'm so happy they are looking at other opponents instead of just Randelman.

Gabe would seal Fedor's career coffin if he scores a high-kick-kill-shot.

It kind of depends if Gonzaga has been training at all or is just getting off the couch after a year.

I bet gonzaga has been training a lot just not fighting.  Theres a lot he can teach and im sure theres people that would love to learn it.  Iwill be blown away if he KO's fedor the same way he did crocop!

They (M1 and the rest of the folks with a financial stake in him) are not going to let Fedor retire. The only questions are how much money they can milk out of him going forward and the damage that will be done to his legacy.

If Fedor does his blitzkrieg at the start, I could see him finishing Gonzaga like JDS did.  However, if he settles in to trade, I see Gonzaga catching Fedor with something.

I agree with you @havok.  He Fedor comes out crazy, he'll stifle Gonzaga... but he may stay away from that since it has cost him a few fights.

@kalibo i wouldnt say it cost him any fight besides werdum.  With werdum also it wouldnt have cost him if he didnt so casually jump into werdums guard. Fedor just needs to understand he isnt so far ahead of everyone now.

It cost him against Hendo... he rushes too much and shows zero patience.  He thought Hendo was hurt and rushed in sloppy like and was Flash Ko'd.

Hendo won that fight with durability wrestling and punching power.  That fight went down exactly how i thought it would except faster.

Fedor thought he hurt Hendo though.. and rushed in like a mad man.  He should have followed him with patience.  But, in either case... Fedor needs a win big time.  Beating Gonzaga won't put him back in my top 10, but it sure gets him back on track to get there.
