to take an idea from the failing stream machine, sherdog, what matches would u make for some of todays winners and losers?
1. brian ebersole- i want him to get a top 10 ww, maybe josh koscheck or kampmann. 2. jhonny hendricks - if ebersole can't get top 10, him vs hendricks is a great idea...if not, stun gun. 3. gustafsson - needs top 10, maybe tito, maybe thiago silva 4. vitor - needs number 1 contender like fight, leben-munoz winner or stann-sonnen winner. 5. akiyama - assuming he keeps his job, i hope he does, he needs a win...since joining ufc, he's only had one very controversal decision victory that i thought he lost...maybe costa phillipou... 6. tito - maybe gustafsson, or phil davis
anyone got more opinions?

Tito and Rich Franklin would be great to see, Vitor and Leban would be great too if Leban wins his fight

Tito vs Rampage would make for a good co-main event.

I'm not bought into any hype on Ebersole yet.  Good fighter, has picked up some nice wins over Lytle and Hallman. But he's got 14 losses on his record already and I think he's in trouble if he steps up too much higher in the UFC. Ebersole vs Hendricks is a decent fight to make, though I favor Hendricks for sure.

Tito vs. Rampage doesn't really appeal to me anymore. 2 guys that are close to retirement fighting, ehh. I'm all for ushering in the new breed of MMA fighters.

Tito vs. Rich Franklin is better: Tito outperformed Franklin against Forrest, losing to him by SD while Franklin lost to Forrest by UD.

Plus Franklin is sitting around waiting for a fight, while Lil Nog is injured and who knows when he'll be available.

I like Tito v Franklin...

....but I don't think Rich would go for that fight. I believe Franklin is getting choosy about who he fights, and only wants to fight guys that will give him a shot to climb up.
If Franklin beats Tito, it won't do much Ace's stock as a fighter.

Too bad their both fighting at 185lb, because I'd like to see Ebersole up against the winner of Ed Herman and Kyle Noke. He lost to Herman and Noke back in the day, so it would be nice to see his progression. Hendricks makes sense, though. That would be a good fight.

Akiyama lost so he'll get Anderson Silva

I'd love Tito vs Rich

I just feel whoever Vitor fights the guy should be ranked top 5 at 185. Vitor is one win away from a title shot. He looked amazing against a very quality opponet in Akiyama.

Obviously Mendes and Rashad are in line.

Vitor is tricky. The only top ranked MWs that will be coming off a win would be Sonnen/Stann (next title shot), Palhares/Dan Miller, Leben/Munoz, and Bisping/Jason Miller but that isn't until December. While Vitor/Bisping would be my preference, the timing makes it more likely it will be the Palhares/Dan Miller winner.

Akiyama/Fitch - That solves 2 problems.
Tito/Brilz
Gustafsson/Kingsbury
Hamill/Bader
Phillipou/Natal
Rivera/Sakara??
Brown/Elkins
Phan/Yahya
Pierce/Story
Pyle/Hallman (maybe)
Hendricks/Kim
Ebersole/Kampmann
MacDonald/Koscheck

I think Vitor knocks Leben out quicker then he did Akiyama. Leben has a good left hand but he wouldn't land it on the much quicker and more technical Vitor. Akiyama has such a great chin and so does Leben but when you face an elite striker like Belfort it won't matter. You're gonna go to sleep.

I'd love to see hendricks/story vs rory and gustafsson vs machida.
both these fights would be great tests for these 2 big prospects. I want to know how would rory fare against a top notch wrestler and how would gustafsson handle a technical striker.

Agree with @joca it's time to see how Rory does with a good wrestler.  Not that Pyle can't wrestle, but he's not the same style as you'll get with Pierce/Hendricks/Story/Fitch/Koscheck.
