After seeing and hearing more and more about Arlovski, I would definitely think a MUST SEE rematch would be Big Country vs Arlovski...............I was quite certain Nelson had never been knocked out but after hearing he did and what he did to bigfoot, I demand we get to see Nelson  against Arlovski........what a main event and I want this fight no matter what happens in Japan.   As co main event of that card you could have Hunt vs JDS.  What do you guys think?

No matter how big of a fan of Arlovski, Big Country only needs one overhand right and it's done.

I rewatched their fight today just for the fun of it ... at this point watching Roy getting KO'd is like an alien sighting ... very weird :)

Andrei can probably KO anyone, I think it's a matter of how he fights; if he can avoid big shots, keep his footwork going, stuff takedowns, etc. If they fought now, I don't think Roy would do any better, he's almost as slow and plodding as Bigfoot.

What's puzzling is Roy has regressed away from his grappling that gave him success against Andrei the first time. And while one shot is all Roy needs, it's never good to rely only on your H-Bomb, especially against a fast heavyweight.

I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch. But not right now. That Bigfoot win skyrocketed Arlovski to the top of the heap. He should be fighting top 5, top 7 talent in his next bout.

If he loses his next fight, then maybe. But now's not a good time for this fight, even if Nelson beats Hunt.

UFC official rankings have Arlovski at #7, Mark Hunt at #6, and Roy Nelson at #8. Makes sense to me if Roy wins. Hunt vs Arlovski makes sense to me if Hunt wins. I like both of those fights.

I don't always agree with the UFC's rankings.  Hunt I understand, but Nelson?

I have Arlovski at 7, Hunt at 8, and Nelson at 12. I wouldn't mind seeing Hunt vs Arlovski tho.

Who do you have above Nelson?

I'd assume the other 9 on your list plus Bigfoot & either Overeem or Minakov at 11 for Nelson 12th.  I also have Nelson 12th but I offer no arguments on rankings as I think they're too subjective.  Just answering your question of someone who has him ranked similarly.

I think Roy would KO Bigfoot and Reem, so I have him above them. It's hard to move Bigfoot out of the top 10, but when you consider his win against Hapa came after Hapa ****** up his leg, and his KO of Overeem is just starting to look par for the course for guys with power who fight Reem.

I think Roy is maybe a bit overrated.  If he doesn't land that haymaker early he becomes a punching bag.  If Frank Mir can beat on him for 3 rounds, Overeem would probably beat him pretty bad...assuming Roy doesn't land that early punch.

Yeah, like I say, I wouldn't argue for Nelson 12th, but I feel it's where he belongs too based on common opponents, and how good his wins are vs. how bad his losses are.  Whether someone has him 7th or 12th, they're not wrong, just opinion.  I'm just of the opinion that pre-this-weekend at least 10 other HW's would beat him.  Same as you feel about Bigfoot that I disagree with.  Nelson enters my top 10 only with a win over Hunt.  Already more rankings talk than I can stomach in a day. ;]

This is my ranking

I got Rothwell at 11 and Nelson at 12. I believe I had Overeem at 10 before he lost to Rothwell and 13 now. Since Gonzaga submitted Rothwell, had to put him a peg above Rothwell. Gonzaga might be a little high, but his only UFC losses after his return were to Miocic and Browne. Both top 5 guys.

We pretty much all agree on 1-6. Not really any dispute there.

@mikeyg You're overcomplicating things. Arlovski needs to channel his inner Dan Henderson if he wants to stay in the top 10.
