Prediction: correct Alves   wrong Decision  

Abedi is one of the best prospects in MMA. Even if he's competitive in this fight, I'll be impressed. Alves is a huge step up though, and in my opinion, Alves is one of the best welterweights in the world. He's extremely under rated after the Story robbery. I think he wins this, and I think he beats every welterweight outside of GSP and Fitch when he's on.

i like Papy. i hope he puts on a good effort here in this fight. but Alves is going to be determined to dig his career out of the hole that it has fallen into recently.

Adedi is overrated I don't why he has so much hype he really looks to big and it seems likes he will gas when Thiago has that experience he also is joining the UFC quite a bit late. Alves is going to unleash some leg kicks and this overall is a good matchup for him.

Screw it, I'll go upset. Alves always struggles to make weight, looked gassed in his last fight, and in general I think has always been slightly over-rated. Don't know anything about Abedi and haven't had time to research him.

Man, Alves looked sluggish and came in heavy. Did he lose the last pound?? I get really irritated when these guys don't "make weight".
