This fight was booked really quickly and to me is just really weird. I like RDA and Jason High it just makes no sense to me. Not saying it couldn't be entertaining though.

Is the lightweight division in this weak a position right now? You'd think maybe Gray Maynard or Josh Thomson, or any other top 10 lightweight coming off a loss. A wild Jason High appears.

He was a pretty thick welterweight and he is 5'9 which is pretty short for welterweight.  On that subject i kind of want to see John Howard at lightweight considering he is 5'7.

Dos Anjos is gonna do what he does well beat people to the punch and out grapple them the only reason he lost his last fight is because he was facing a guy that could do that better and faster than he could...

This fight Reminds me of John Makdessi vs Dennis Hallman in design.

Not to be a ****** or anything, but can you picture the absolute **** storm that would occur if High beat RDA?

King Mo sums it up. The sheer shock that would happen if High beat him and how the UFC would handle it was what i was interested to see.

Why would there really be a ****strom and a UFC negative reaction? It's not like RDA is some uber fighter that casual fans know and get huge viewership numbers.

An enormous,.explosive wrestler with an 18-4 record riding out a decision vs a.much smaller.Brazilian with an 20-7 record shouldn't be horribly shocking although Dos Nachos should be favored.

High's problem will be that if he gets a takedown he much rather jump on a sub than hold position, I don't think he will sub RDA though so unless he employs a different strategy than usual he's in some trouble.

See, High used.to train for his fights out of his own local gym with nobodies...after the Erick Silva loss he decided to have fight camps down at ATT with Woodley, Lombard, Lawler,.Poirier,.Tibau,.Alves and so on. I'd wish Wineland would quit being a fire fighter...Winelands training methods for many fights is "working out with my buddies and hitting the heavybag I hung up in the station" no wonder Eduardo broke your jaw fool.

If "Fitness" was MMA's greatest attribute, then Nick Diaz would be the GOAT… but it's not. The Bodyshop gets worked in this one. Like Paul Ruebens in bathhouse worked.

I know it was a long time ago but I can't really get over guida making RDA look like a child on the ground if High can get him down he can win but with that said I will pick the most likely method and winner

Anjos was nowhere near the fighter he is today when he fought guida. And lets not forget anjos was fighting with a broken jaw. No matter how tough you are, its almost impossible to put up a half descent fight when your jaw is shattered.
