Aha ... dude tried to lift Bader and almost got a hernia ... his Rampage-slamming days are long gone ... plus, for it to be a proper Rampage slam Mo would have to sink in a triangle first ... Mo wouldn't recognize a triangle that didn't have cheese and pepperoni on it to save his life :)

There's a difference between lifting someone sideways and dropping them (which most fighters can do, since it's a momentum thing more than pure power) and a Rampage-slam (it was still friggin' impressive though) ... there was another attempt in the fight to lift him and he just buckled ...

Anyway, I was joking, so no need to head-butt over it ...

I recall that slam he put on Bader to be pretty impressive, i remember thinking holy **** rampage just broke Bader neck lol.  He also never used Momentum, he was standing in place when he did it, he just kinda pulled a hulk on Bader. It was not typical side ways slam, that was pretty much all strength on Rampages part and Bader landed on his head.

Yes rampage buckled in his next attempt because he had blown out Knee and never should have fought to begin with. He was so hurt prior to the fight he could not even jogg which is why he missed weight.

I know you are kidding, but still does not change the fact you used a bad example. If anything that fight kinda disprove the notion your alluding too since a very injured Rampage was still able to viciously slam someone.

This image below and the time Jones chocked Machida are the two times I thought someone neck actually broke.

Anyways,

I agree that a slam victory is very unlikely. And Rampage lack of slamming people I think been more due to the evolution of the sport. I think people have gotten to skilled to allow most of the time the same opportunities for Slams we use to see from Rampage. I also think that LHW have gotten larger over the years and some of Rampages e[pic slams where against guys who would be middle weights or even 170ers.

Dude, seriously, I was joking ... I'm pretty sure Rampage can still slam anyone he likes and the Bader slam was as awesome as they come ... just an (apparently not very funny) attempt at humour on my behalf :)

I think you're onto something Franklin. Fighters are getting better and they are harder to slam. If anything has improved collectively, it's definitely been wrestling/counterwrestling. So while Rampage is definitely capable of slamming ************s (like Bader), it's not nearly as easy.

But I think its mostly because his hands improved soooo much since those days that he doesn't really need to do it.

I love the chemistry of this fight, they are trying to fake hype it too much, but it makes sense and it's a fun matchup. Honestly though I think King Mo outpoints Rampage for the win. He won't knock him out Rampage has a head like a block of wood and Rampage has only been submitted once and King Mo is no Jon Jones, but if he uses his footwork and makes it out of the first he can take this.

King Mo ain't submitting anyone. Knocking Rampage out is a possibility, but I wouldn't count on it.

I really really hope Mo tries to stand with Rampage and gets put to sleep. I don't want to see Mo get outclassed by the awkward style of Emanuel Newton again. Rampage has fought and beat Keith Jardine who is basically the same person as Emanuel Newton only Jardine doesn't throw a lot of spinning techniques. I have a deep burning desire to see Newton go to sleep and Mo's had 2 fights to accomplish that and looked like wet turd in the process.

Sakuraba submitted Rampage.

He also submitted the entire Gracie family...so, there's that.

Edit: Nevermind, I see that you were just responding to the claim that Rampage had only been subbed once. I thought you were dismissing Saku's grappling at first. I was offended.

Hampage should get the KO here. if it was Mo from a few years ago then i think he could have wrestle****** him to a decision but the knee injuries have hindered his wrestling a lot.
