Do you guys think Hamill has a chance to ever be champ or atleast #1 contender or do you think his loss to Rampage set him back to far ?

Unless he experiences what Dan Hardy went through (right place, right time), then no. If I had to bet the house on one fact it would be this.

I respect the guy for what he's been through but at the same time I think he's medicore.

I just watched his fight with Tito a couple hours ago. He looked great in that fight, but then i watched him v Rampage and his performance was very lackluster compared to against Ortiz.

He made it to the UFC and has won a lot of fights... so that's a huge accomplishment that most could not ever hope to do.  But he's not championship or #1 contender material.

He won't stand a chance against anyone in the top ten imo.

I think he is a great keeper. I know fighters don't want to be known as that, but at least you hold a solid position in the UFC.

i agree @torch, he should be a good gate keeper for another couple of years...no shame in that, but your right no fighter wants to think of it like that

Some fighters come to realise that they will be nothing more then gate keepers/journeymen but rather then get bogged down by it they become content.

I think Hamill has a bright future as he would be fantastic speaker for the hard of hearing (and other disabled) people who feel they can't amount to much.

I think Hamill can win most fights outside the top 10 but doesnt have much chance ever being champion

I think he has the potential to be top10... but not the champ.  He called out Page and was beaten.

It's sad to see fighter's that fight their butts off and will never be able to be champ
