Spring is almost here and so is the next Tapology UFC season contest!

The UFC seasonal contests are perhaps the most difficult to win. Information is abundant on almost every fight: betting odds, fight video and more will level the playing field. The winners will need to out-wit and out-analyze the rest of the website.

While few members are criminally insane enough to pick hundreds of regional fights in a single weekend, there are vast numbers willing to come on and throw down on some UFC picks.

Will it be a red belt to bring home the big prize, or an unknown orange belt who knows how to crush it on Zuffa cards? Only time will tell.

This season we are hitting you with a HUGE increase in available Tapology points to the winner.  ** 40,000 ** points go to the winner. 25,000 points to 2nd place.  And big prizes all the way down to 20th on the leaderboard.

In addition to the Tapology points there is $500 of cold, hard cash given to the competition winner.

Reigning UFC competition champions:
- Spring 2012: tarzan
- Summer 2012: Kalibo
- Autumn 2012: chadderall
- Winter 2013: michaelsilva
- Spring 2013: Rahito
- Summer 2013: stange
- Autumn 2013: IronHorse
- Winter 2014:  dugen

Pick well and good luck.

My picks are a disgrace... a disgrace to me and all previous UFC Comp winners.  Good luck to everyone though!

I wanted to pick Barboza so bad, I spent a full week talking myself out of it... Cerrone is the favorite and if everyone around me is picking him I may as well play it safe.  Less to lose, more to win.  I'm such a *****.

You're probably happy about now that you went with Cerrone.  Sitting in 2nd place...

Barboza was the actually the betting favorite, but not by much.  I was pretty shocked when I saw that.

Oh, the roller coaster that is picking the UFC.  First three events:  15-17.  Last two events:  22-4.  Best of luck to those still in the running for the comp win.

I finished the last two UFC comps in 36th and 91st and was starting to feel really good about myself ... then this happened :)

I finished the last two UFC's at 24th and 161st, this one started out real bad but I'll keep climbing. Anything besides 1st is a real disappointment.
