Would the UFC actually cut Alistair Overeem or Frank Mir?
Dana constantly has money in his eyes, no way in hell he's gonna let Overeem walk away.
As for Mir, he's a first generation fighter, a former champion, it would be such disrespect to cut him. Besides, other fighters have gone on 4-loss streaks.
Mir is my absolute favorite fighter, and it really sucks knowing that he's a terrible matchup against Overeem.

If Overeem where to lose I think he would be gone but I don't think he loses to Mir. I don't see Mir making it out of the first round with Overeem.

I think Dana would try to convince Mir to retire if he loses, but like you said he's one of the pioneers of the sport and he won't get cut if he loses. Alistair I think would get one more shot but this fight is tailor-made for him to win.

Yeah Mir is going to get smashed before the first round is over. Bummer. I like Overeem a lot too, such a catch 22 for me

I can't think of anyone who's gone on 4 straight losses since the roster got so huge, which is when they started cutting for even 1-2 losses. So I'd say yeah, they would. I have huge respect for what Mir has done, but I can't see him being a big draw anymore... /shrug
