He went back to Jacksons too , guess that was after or before grudge , I didnt know he trained at grudge.

I think he wanted to go back to Jackson's and Jackson said no. He took a vote of everyone that trains there and they voted no on Melvin. He went to Grudge which is a really good gym after Jackson denied him.

Seems that they rejected less on his criminal history and more on his attitude. If it was put to a vote, they could've rejected him for any reason. Not like Jackson/Winkeljohn has a "no felonies" clause.

Grudge is affiliated with Jackson's. Taking a vote is how they decide if they let a new guy join. It's just how Greg Jackson operates. I think Guillard's attitude is precisely why the fighters voted no on him.
