Because of time constraints I makes sense not to make Fight night and VS fights 5 rounds. I'm not a huge fan of 5 round non-title fights really. I just think they should do their best to make sure there is a title fight on every card. With 7 champions that shouldn't be that hard.

its hard to say, theres a lot of complications trying to make a title fight every card. but i do agree i'm not a big fan of 5rds for every main event...sometimes i wish there was 2 more rounds, but theres a lot times i'm glad its only 3

Makes sense. I didn't want televised main events to have 5rnds anyways. Although there would be some that would have deserved 5rnds, a good majority of them wouldn't have. PPV main events being 5rnds is good though. I would have enjoyed 5rnds of Machida/Rampage.

I dont like the 5 round non title fight idea either. Leave it how it is with title fights being 5 and everything else as 3. There are more important things in mma that need to be looked at and changed or tweaked a little. Stop worrying about how many rounds main events should be and fix the **** that really matters; like the scoring, kicks to the head of a grounded opponent that so many fans and fighters seem to want. Thats what I care about not getting 2 more rounds of a non title fight.
