I know there are obviously a ton of people on here that are excited for this game, and with some big gaming 'dates' coming within the next few months, we will probably be hearing some legit news about this game soon. I will update this thread as regularly as possible, if you guys find some cool stuff about it, post away! I know there is a video game thread but I don't wanna totally flood that thread with just stuff about the UFC game, so I will just make a thread dedicated to it.

 

Also, EA just launched an official website for the game recently .. today. So that must mean something is coming soon.

New patch out now. Matt Browne, Mike Pyle, Stipe Miocic added. Catch kicks added. Real TKOs added. Manual taunts added. Some striking speed changes, especially at HW. And more.

since Gregerd doesnt live in north america its probably harder to schedual a time and place to take the pictures and stuff they need to make his character.  dont doubt they will though especially if he beats jacare again

Time for a revival! 

Mike Bohn got a hands-on with EA Sports UFC 2, confirmed a lot of names and a roster twice as big as the last game. Here's some details. 

  • - 250+ fighters in the game. There was about 123 in the last game, including the free DLC added later on. 
  • - Here are the fighters Bohn confirmed, mostly by answering questions on Twitter: Nick Diaz, Aljamain Sterling, Clay Collard, CM Punk, Thomas Almeida, Aleksandra Albu, Kailin Curran, Oliynyk, Corey Anderson, Tony Ferguson, Barboza, Norhcutt (free DLC), Neil Magny, Albert Tumenov, Thiago Alves, Ben Saunders, Lorenz Larkin, Scoggins, Rafael Natal, Pat Cummins, Whittaker, Khabilov, Bagautinov, Derek Brunson, Cisco Rivera, Bermudez. 
  • - Around 40 lightweights total, about 20 strawweights. 
  • - Mighty Mouse is the highest rated in the game. 
  • - Leg Kick TKO's are in. 
  • - Sounds like there will be low & high block buttons. 

Lot's of refreshing names on the roster this time around it seems. I love it.

I hope this new game is really good. The games so far have been OK, but they could be a lot better.

I'm honestly not expecting a lot. But with more than double the roster size and much better KO animations, I'll still likely play it more than any other game I own. In terms of actual gameplay, I doubt we see much changes. But who knows.

@mike, you're more than likely right. They basically just really advanced the size of the roster. I'm sure 99% of the fighters actual mechanics will be identical. I'll still play it, but I'm not expecting to be blown away. Just want to sub people with Saku.

New Gameplay Trailer. KO physics look great. Favorite things; Doo Ho Choi and Cro Cop in his signature trunks. Pat Barry is also still in for some reason.

So Reebok/UFC wont put CroCops checker pattern on his fight shorts, which would have made them suck a little less. but they will put in in the game to help sales. ******* scummy ****.

That Tyson/Lewis stoppage makes me doubt this is gameplay. Hope I'm wrong because that looked really good.
