EA Sports UFC thread.

I know there are obviously a ton of people on here that are excited for this game, and with some big gaming 'dates' coming within the next few months, we will probably be hearing some legit news about this game soon. I will update this thread as regularly as possible, if you guys find some cool stuff about it, post away! I know there is a video game thread but I don't wanna totally flood that thread with just stuff about the UFC game, so I will just make a thread dedicated to it.

 

Also, EA just launched an official website for the game recently .. today. So that must mean something is coming soon.

The way I see it, if he's hitting Aldo he's someone around that weight.




Maybe mayweather?  Bruce lee?  Goku? Vic Mackey?

Ok, ok, I can't hold it in any longer ... IT'S ME!!!

Coloured belt system is great, but not the match making. In EA MMA I enjoyed facing black belts and higher ranks while I was at a much lower belt like white. Was fun beating up higher ranks while gaining much more XP for it lol. I also enjoyed the fact that the fight time limits was actually like real LIFE, meaning if you set a fight to 3 round it will actually TAKE 15 minutes to complete (if it goes the distance), whereas in UFC the round seems to go by within 2 or 3 minutes. Online battles were epic, I even had full 5 round wars that lasted 25 minutes on EA MMA.

 

Sadly I was just hoping for fight cards :(

I just realized how hyped I am for EA SPORTS UFC, and I don't even own a PS4 or Xbox one..... wow lol.

I know exactly how you feel @godhood...I have a Wii U instead...because my kids suck haha

It's funny 'cause I took UCONN all the way in my work pool and the payout is like 650.00 for the winner...That's my PS4 ticket...lets go UCONN

Just went on the EA UFC site, the mystery fighter isn't fedor (although that's what I initially thought). I'm thinking it's going to be Bruce Lee, I looked at the slight reveal and it looks like a slightly small guy that's attacking Aldo, way too small to be Fedor.

i hope it's not bruce lee . i hated when they added mask to one of their older games . i like using guys who actually fight mma . also am i the only one who finds it looks like Mousasi in that pic and not Aldo ?

it would be Super Lame . like i said i want guys who actually fight MMA . plus you know everybody and i mean EVERYBODY is gonna use him online . which brings me back to my post yesterday everyone online is ******* .

no i had a winning record on UFC 3  and EA MMA. i just hate how everyone .throws the same punch over and over and don't use technique . or if they get you to the ground its body shots over and over and over . i like playing with people who fight like the actual fighters not hardcore nerdy gamers who just wanna WIN cause if they don't they'll snap and break their controller LOL . like if your jake shields throwing power punches the whole fight that's dumb as **** .

EX : If im edgar i use technical striking mixed with some Takedowns .

If im garcia i go all out like a crazy ************

or if im Fitch i just chill out keep top control .

i find that fun not power shots as jon fitch that's just stupid as **** .

like i don't think i was ever jabbed online on ufc 3 LOL. just power shots it's pathetic . i love the jab in it . i always used it to piss people off cause it stops their haymakers instantly .

Yeah, if you play UFC 3 online...it's only headkicks and wild wanderlei power swinging.

I completely agree with Gunn, and I'm not ****** at all either...I actually enjoy realistic MMA gameplay, sorry.

My online record was 54-2 in UFC 3 online ranked...and I play normally or similar to how the fighter's I pick styles, not like a spamming *****, and that's why it's easy to beat most the cheap people online. They have no ground game or sub game cause they button mash.


If not liking cheap and spamming online play means you're ******...then you sound like one of the people we're talking about, Tnuggz.

Yeah I agree but I never played ufc 3 online because of people complaining, ea mma I played forever online.


I'm 99% sure it's Bruce Lee now.

Playing these games with friends in person is really fun.
