Rousey by armbar round one. Until something else happens I'm not entertaining any other possibility for a Ronda Rousey fight.

Well for all I know she won all of those fights by a headkick which was blocked, but resulted in a broken arm.

I'm going with Cat Zingano.  I think she will do to her what she did to Miesha Tate.

Liz took her back and Cat has better JJ.  And is a gamer.  Proved she can handle the pressure.

She also has terrible takedown defense.

She's seen in person what Cat can do so there's no way she's going to do anything but tie her up, toss her and tap her. I do think though Ronda will need to improve her stand up because she won't be able to recklessly rush in to clinch like she has with every other opponent.

I agree that Ronda will clinch immediately and look for the takedown. If I were coaching Cat, I would work on using her jab to keep distance and work heavily on fighting moving backward. If she can avoid getting up against the fence and continue to keep Ronda at bay, she can win. That's the key to beating her, but it's a lot easier said than done, especially when you are in the cage and instinct takes over.

I wonder if all the people who are so sure Rhonda will beat Cat, aren't you guys the same ones who bet on Miesha Tate?  Probably.  Looks like no one learned much about Cat.

She will have to take you to school the S-L-O-W way.  Rhonda is a 1-trick pony.

I feel as though it's going to be a lot closer than most people think. With that being said I predict Ronda Rousey winning this one.

After that , I still think Cats not ready for Rondas grappling. she put herself in too many bad situations against Tate that Ronda would turn into an easy armbar.

I agree bill, Ronda is a 1 trick pony. I'm sure her striking will improve over time and make her a bit more well rounded. Her armbar is great, but she has given up her back a few times in fights, so other than the armbar, she still has some improvements to make on the ground too. It's going to take someone that can stick to a gameplan to stay out of the clinch with her.

I think Rhonda's armbar is a great tool, too.  But Rhonda is not the second coming of Royce Gracie.  There was only 1 Royce.  But still, Rhonda is a tough out.

I think she's something like Miesha.  Cat showed good stamina in that 3rd round.  She was attacking when she had to be exhausted.  She was lifting knees to Miesha's head repeatedly.  Those take energy.

I don't think Rhonda has been fully tested as of yet.  She might beat Cat but for the future, she needs to keep developing his game.  She must broaden her arsenal.  She must develop a credible stand-up game.

Rhonda might win this one, even if I'm sceptical, but she must avoid relying on a single tool in the future, no matter how much success it brings in the short term.  This is MMA, and the UFC will bring in better and better women, and Rhonda needs to prepare for that eventuality.  She needs to improve her roundedness.

Shes actually very similar to Royce if you think about it . When Royce was competing in the begining UFC tournaments no one had heard or practiced BJJ and he was so good at it he made the biggest strongest looking guys look like chumps. There is not a whole lot of need for Judo defense in MMA cause there are only a handful of really good practitioners of it.

So Ronda being the best of the best at it in MMA has a huge advantage over those that are just now realizing they need to learn to stop that Judo throw and armbar and have just started hiring Judo coaches to help them learn how to do it. a few years from now after these top girls learn how to stop her better she will be very beatable unless she improves her striking and BJJ but right now I dont think anyone outside a power striker could beat her .

If that were true then why didn't Karo Parisyan succeed a lot more than he did? I think the real problem is that Ronda has done judo since she was very young. In mens mma, most fighters have a martial arts or wrestling background dating back to when they were kids also. That's not the case in womens mma. Yes, there are several women that have done martial arts or wrestling since a young age, but not as many in the mens division. The problem with women vs Ronda is experience. She has grappled since she was a kid while other women started grappling recently when the started mma. It's instinctual for Ronda while other women still have to think about their actions.

I think so long this fight is on the feet, Cat has every advantage. If she can keep it standing (easier said  then done, I know) she will win this. Easily.
