i think Carlos Condit has better striking but Johny Hendrick hits so hard.  Johny Hendrickshas much better wrestling but Condit is great of his back with striking and submissions i think Condit will win.

I'm really feeling for Johny Hendricks now.  He was so deserving of his title shot, and now, I think he will probably lose to Carlos Condit. I feel that way because Carlos is more well-rounded.  I could be wrong but I don't think so.

At this point, I have to say, Hendricks got screwed big time.

It would suck for Hendricks because he does deserve it more then Diaz. A lot more then Diaz actually. If Condit beats Hendricks though do you really wanna see GSP/Hendricks anyway? If Hendricks really is the 2nd best ww in the world like most believe including himself then he should be able to beat Condit.

Rankings ? There's no such thing... it's all about giving the MMA fans what they want...the UFC want to SELL a product. The UFC are losing money if they use the rankings... We would see alot of GSP vs. Condit III, Edgar vs. Maynard IIII, Johnson vs. Benavidez IIIIIIIIII.

Hendricks deserves a title shot, Diaz deserves a title shot, Mcdonald deserves a tilte shot, Anderson Silva deserves a fight with GSP, Saffiedine deserves a title shot. Maia deserves a title shot....

They can't wait 1-2 years to fight for the belt.
The UFC are doing the right thing.

Hendricks wrestling has gotten worse over the years because he stopped training it to work on his standup. Condit has really good TDD and will have the striking advantage. I don't see any way Hendricks can win this fight except landing a big punch but Condit has never been KO'd.

Great fight, but would rather see Condit/Marquardt.

Condit has more of a notice, but this is Hendricks time to really knock it out of the park and solidify his contendership.

They were all scheduled to fight at 158. The only one fighting on short notice is Marquardt.

Prediction: correct Hendricks   wrong

Condit coming off 5 round loss to champ GSP.  Does anyone remember what happened to Hardy and Shields in their next fight after that GSP decision loss? They got KOed.  Alves also lost his next fight immediately following GSP loss.  Koscheck seems to be the only one the curse hasn't worked on yet in recent memory.

Then you have Hendricks who punches out his opponents clock early or squeaks by with a decision.  Being that he rightfully should be fighting GSP, he will not want to lose this fight to Condit.

No predictions from us yet, these are just a few things to consider regardless on who is the better fighter.

@bman518 He's one of the greatest NCAA wrestlers of all-time, Hendricks' wrestling hasn't diminished because he stops training it. What type of stupid **** is that?

The reason why his wrestling isn't as effective as it should be is because his reliance on power causes him to lose balance easier.

Condit will just outclass Johny Hendricks, which is a shame because I wanted to see either him or Ellenberger getting a title shot.

@DelRose No he didn't, he had a knockdown and some g'np but GSP recovered well and was in control for most of the round afterwards.

Still think Condit will destroy Johny Hendricks, he's just a completely different animal. I didn't realize how good he was until he lost to GSP, fascinating fighter he is. Only fighters I see beating him other than GSP are Rory MacDonald (but I actually have Condit winning if they do fight again) and Jon Fitch, because of the obvious style clash that doesn't favor Condit in the least.

Anik nailed this one. Condit is on another level. The same level as Rory MacDonald. A level above where Hendricks is at.

I don't understand. You wanted him to get a title fight, but you don't think he could beat the other top contenders?

He wants him to fight the title WITHOUT having to fight guys like Condit. I think Hendricks loses to Condit, Rory, and Diaz. If he has to fight any of them to get a title shot. He will lose.
