Tapology Talks: Videogames

Haven't seen a thread on this so i thought I'd make one.

So what's Tapology playing?

I've been dabbling in a bunch of games but i keep going back to Uncharted 3,Black Ops 2 and BF 3 multiplayer.

I'm in the same boat as you^ I have not been NEARLY as excited for a game since GTA 4.

 

I'm curious as to what will happen when you beat the game. All these characters seem likeable, I'm all for it. But what happens when you beat the game .. can you switch back and forth between characters whenever? I think it would be cool if you could and then also each person had a few different side mission. Idk just a thought.

I hope there is a better fighting mechanic and I hope they have shooting like Max Payne 3. I noticed in the Trevor trailer theres a part where he's on his back in an animation similar to that of Max Payne 3 ... so I like it. ALSO I saw lightning in the Trevor trailer as well .. that is awesome.

That's the first thing I watched yesterday when I woke up, I can't wait for the otheer previews this week, then I can't wait for e3.  I don't even want to think about waiting til September.

You can switch between characters at any time, and when you aren't controlling one, they will go do their own thing unless you make them stay with you.

I hope at E3 they give us SOMETHING on EA UFC..

 

 

I really hope in GTA the city actually feels alive. In GTA 4 they said it would, but it really didn't feel like it. I hope in the actual gameplay literally everyone is doing their own thing.

How about Dead Island Riptide? I have it, I enjoyed the first, so I enjoy this one.. But they didn't even try making it any different. So lazy.

E3 is gonna be good this year.




A lot of trailers rockstar makes, is made in real time with actual gameplay.  A lot of times it's on pc to show the better side of graphics.  If you go back and watch all the pre release gta iv trailers, a lot of it was gameplay.

Everyone ... go buy Far Cry: Blood Dragon. 15 dollars and it's incredible. It is sooooooooo fun. The graphics are like Far Cry 3 (you don't need the disc to play this). It is Far Cry 3 but futuristic and just absolute insanity. It is a retro futuristic sci-fi open world game .. yes. Everything has a different look .. It's the same engine, but everything else is different. There is still animals on the island .. they are mutant cyborgs.. There is also dragons that shoot lasers ... yes. The writing is funny as **** too.

This game is what everyone wishes Duke Nukem Forever WOULD have been.

 

Must own. Buy this ****. It is insanity, it is crazy and fun as ****.

I think so. I bought it this morning ... it is awesome.

Is it the same island(s) from far cry 3? 

No it's different. It's still pretty big. Probably about half the size of far cry 3, which for a 15 dollar game isn't bad!

That's cool, is there still an exploration feel to it? I have seen some gameplay and I'm cool with everything, I just haven't seen any free roam gameplay.

Yeah you can still explore, and due to the awesome creatures on the island, I enjoy doing that.

Blood Dragon was good, I beat it like 3 weeks ago lol. Its good to be a pirate GYARRG!!!

@UFC lol ... the same person goes to everything I posts and gives me thumbs down. They think it hurts my post score .. it doesn't.

@MikeLovesTacos XD I've noticed that too on some of my posts,thats pretty sad if you ask me.

This is what I hate, this forum should be MMA and MMA ONLY related. All this other talk should go to another forum. Enough said. If it's not MMA then I dont wanna hear it.
