How is Rouseys cardio? If it goes past the first it could get interesting. Paying decent odds...

Rousey's cardio should be decent. She never tired in judo and she was much bigger. She looks a lot more fit now.

there are videos of Rousey training like a boss. They could be all hype but she looked to be in great shape to go more than one round. But I don't think we will find out till she fights McMann with that wrestling. Rd 1 Sub and Rd 1 KO should be the only possible outcomes on this one.

I don't think an ex-olympian Jodoka is going to have issues with her cardio, she knows how to get in shape.

The only way Liz wins this is if she clocks her when Ronda rushes in (as she tends to do).

The only reason I picked Liz is because I'm potentially sacrificing my pick and going for my major upset award :)

MMAth may not exist but Liz "people only know about me because I am an outted Marine" Carmouche does not have the skill to do to Ronda what Tate and Kaufmann could not. This will be the single safest fight of Ronda's career, she doesn't even need to train ANYTHING but cardio, and realistically, not even that.

I should note, I don't hold it against Liz that she's gay, I am just saying she's using that for notoriety and that isn't really any different than using your round bottom, ala Felice, but it doesn't win tough fights. If there are examples of fighters having two common opponents and fighter A losing to both via decision while fighter B dismantled both inside five minutes AND THEN fighter A defeating fighter B in any way, just remind me. It has to have happened, but I don't wanna do the homework, but if someone else does, I'll debate the merits of its relevancy.    :P

Why are people allowed to post without prediction results? Anyone else think that's wrong? It invites trolls.

Carmouche promoting her sexuality is no different then Chael, Bisping, or Barnett talking ****. She's just trying to garner interest in her fight. What fighter hasn't done that?

Fighters will use whatever they can to hype up their fight.

That being said, Carmouche is gonna get ****** up good.

@Judo. Several times I don't pick a winner until the day before because I want to research the pick. Doesn't mean that you shouldn't be able to post because you are undecided.

We are gonna have trolls no matter what. Making them post their pick will not stop that.

@amp, I totally agree that its no different, and again, I am not knocking her for it. But come fight day she's getting that arm hyperextended. Truth be told its not as daunting as fighting a guy like Mike Tyson knowing you were going to get seriously hurt, so I double don't blame Liz. I wonder what kind of cheddar it will garner for her. Certainly being about to put "UFC veteran" on your resume can't hurt as a woman.

@amp, what I meant about the trolls was this:

I keep seeing guys post about things and they haven't had a single prediction that came to fruition. Its not like I am complaining that guys don't have theire prediction up about a fight that they are commenting on, that I don't care about even remotely, to each their own on that.

 

Ah I get you. It would be better to have a good number of predictions before you post, but the forums really helped me navigate this site and understand the etiquette here when I first joined this site. Most people that post on the forums are pretty serious. We only have a handful of trolls.

Even though a persons cardio is in check, one can tire easily from exerting so much energy into getting a submission. Rousey is obviously going to attemot to end the fight by submission, just wondering if and its a BIG if, she is unsucessful, and exerted a lot of energy into it, and it goes into round two...

Just realised, thats a lot of "if's" lol.

Rousey should win easily... Lets just hope shes taking Liz seriously though.. Can't afford to underestimate because you're brilliant.... and hot.

i've seen the commercial enough. there the same height. why is it that rousey looks down on carmouche like she is 3 or 4 inches taller?
