Apparently Aldo has stated that if he beats Frankie he's open to a move to 155. Would he be as dominant at 155 as he would 145? Does he really want to join the deepest shark tank in the UFC? What say yooou?

I think Aldo could destroy most of the Lightweights inside the UFC. I think guys like Benson would give him trouble, but I could see very few guys in the division actually giving him issues.

i could see jose taking the belt, but he'd have to get through some stiff competition. so many good fights for him at 155 too. it'd be awesome to see

Jose Aldo at 155 would be better for the sport. Much better, tougher, more competitive fights. I've long wanted to see him move up. The fight I'd most want to see is him vs. both Henderson and BJ Penn.

If Aldo beats Frankie I think his only move would be to go to LW. I mean for one there really wouldn't be any more fights for him at FW. In my opinion Aldo would wreck KZ. Second he wouldn't have to endure a painful weight cut that is really taxing on his body. Third there are so many more fights at 155 because that division is much much deeper.

@Mayhem Ben doesn't smother. He rains down blows from open guard. Aldo and Henderson are my 2nd and 3rd favorite fighters respectively, but I honestly don't know how that one would go. Ben has a very underrated chin (he took a flying knee while he was going for a takedown against Anthony Pettis and kept going) and his submission defense is impeccable. He's rangier, but isn't nearly as good on the feet as Aldo. Aldo's TDD is so good that I'm not sure how Ben's wrestling would do against him.

@zarog I'm not saying he does I'm saying that he would. He would use his size and strength to simply ragdoll Aldo around the cage so that he can't get caught
