Congrats to Lil Nog! Something was definitely wrong with Rashad though. He wasn't moving around and as explosive as he usually is

Such a huge win for lil Nog. I don't wanna take any credit away from him but damn I've never seen Rashad look so bad. He said after the Jones fight he lost his will to do it anymore and took some time off to regain that. He said he had the fire back but I don't believe it. Rashad is one of my favorite fighters but if he's going to fight like that he should retire now and just coach.

Damn, just because Evans lost to Nog and people thought he wouldn't that means he has to retire? ***.

He did come off a long layoff. Then again, so did Nog.

@mike it's not just that he lost it's how. Also the fact that he even uttered the word retirement kinda tells you that Rashad mentally isn't 100% in it. If Rashad is mentally and physically there he doesn't lose to Nog and he's the best lhw in the world not named Jon Jones.

I think there might be an issue with there camp. Big foot silva mention there all business there. I think they might be lacking a strong head coach. They have a lot of big egos there like Overreem, rashad, Vitor and Guillard. I don't think that's a good mix if you don't have a strong head coach and your filled with a bunch of fighters with larger then normal ego's.

I agree. When Van Arsdale left that was a huge loss for that camp. The Blackzillians are such a talented group of fighters but maybe the fire and leadership just isn't there. If I were Rashad and wanted to continue my career at an elite level I'd pack my bags and go to Montreal/Tri-star. He works there some but he should have his camps there imo.

@P4P
I completely agree with you. Do you happen to know why Van Arsdale left?

I guess the Blackzilians really isnt the best camp in the world. Their best 2 guys got beat last night, one of them getting knocked out brutally

@franklin no he's not at Jackson's. I think he's been bouncing around a little bit. I heard he's been at the Grudge training center in Denver helping out Trevor Wittman recently.

Rashad just didn't take this fight seriously and paid for it. A fight with Shogun or the loser of Hendo/Machida would be a good fight to get his focus back.

Yea, Rashad probably thought this would be a easy fight for him, but he paid for it. Good to see Bigfoot, and Lil Nog get those wins tho, even tho i picked against both of them. Also, nice to see that the Brazilians got a clean sweep on the main card
