"We fought each other in practice," said Jones, who pushed his record to 13-1 with last month's triumph. "A finish has been possible several times and it has always been me finishing him. I never did it out of respect that he was the elder of the school. It's against protocol in a way. Some people would do it but I believe in tradition.

I dont ever root against someone because i dont like them as a person. They arent there to entertain us as people. There are a lot of fighters that i wouldnt associate myself with based on they type of person they are but i still root for them based on the type of fighter they are. On the flip side there are really good people out there that i dont care for as fighters and thats based solely on their styles or ability to finish fights.
Now when they type of person they are comes out in the cage/ring then it could change my opinion on them i.e. Daley's sucker punch, Congo's constant nut shots and short grabbing.
Theres also a lot of things people dont see that happen after the fights. Like when Diaz and Daley met up in a restaurant directly after their fight. They were very respectfull, shook hands, did the whole bro hug thing and said it was all for hype.
A fighter could be a ****y, brash, disrespectful idiot but if he does his job well and entertains me then ill root for him. Him being a good/bad person only affects the people around him. Unless, of course, he spits on your kid or something.

Jones has added a new dimension to the game ... creativity. When you've learned the technical parts of the game things can become predictable. MMA has come to the point where there is a counter move or defensive action for almost every offense. A lot of fighters are waiting for their opponents to make mistakes so they can capitalize on them. Sometimes you see two fighters that seem to neutralize each other. No one makes any mistakes and the fight looks dull and goes to decision.
Sure there are creative fighters out there, but Jones is really showing the rest of us how creativity can overcome convention on a whole new level. Effective counters and defenses have yet to be perfected for this guys offense. He does some wild stuff in the cage. Sure Rashad has had more time to analyze Jones' moves and therefore he'll have an advantage over other fighters that have fought jones. But let's face it, Jones is damaging his opponents so quickly and efficiently it's hard to see Rashad evolving his game fast enough to even challenge Jones. Jones will win that fight in the first or second round.

Besides speed I'm not sure what advantage Rashad has. I'd say Jones has better striking, at least on par with wrestling with jones being bigger and stronger. Unless Jones has zero chin, I really don't see anyone @205lbs giving him a problem. I think they've found their 205lbs king.

People thought that about Penn, Machida, Shogun and other fighters as well. I dont think anyone is unbeatable. Rashad might not be the man to do it but someone will.

Lol, Jon Jones is going to make Rashad look silly in there. He has superior wresting and striking, Rashad is quick but Jones has the range to counter for it.

You guys ready for the Stank Leg 2.0?

I'm now growing very tired of Rashad's mouth.
