Since it's a slow day in the world of MMA, I thought it would be cool to talk about Tapology and ourselves.. anything at all regarding the same.  I'll get a brief start going..

I live in PA, am 30 and have been a fan of MMA since I was a teenager.  Work for the railroad and rarely ever miss an event regardless of promotion/stature.  I like Tapology b/c of the environment it fosters.  I wish we could edit/delete our posts... maybe have categories of threads for the forums, but all in all, I appreciate the type of place this is thus far.

The good:  half day at work.  The bad:  kidney stone is the reason.

You're not kidding.  I've only had one once before and it sucked.  So far not as bad this time.  Oh well, it's an excuse to spend the day vegging.

Book I bought today:

OldManGloom

I hear them are terribly painful. Back in middle school I had a Spanish teacher have it. One day in class she was up in front of the class teaching and then she suddenly fell to the floor and cried a little. No one did anything. We just sat in our chairs and looked at her............... we didnt know what to do I think or maybe it just happened to fast, i dont know............. maybe we were to young lol i dont know but we just looked at her. She got rid of them though but i dont remember when it was.

It's a combination of diet and genetics if I'm not mistaken.  They seem to run in my family.

@WishIsHere shootings happen all the time in Toronto schools but it's usually not like a mass shooting where someone has snaped and went on a random killing spree. It's usually the same as any street shooting where people have some sort of beef with eachother and it just takes place at a school.

Pretty sure the majority of those school shootings I posted weren't beefs between gangs or people, that were posted in that article. I was responding to Mike saying that you never see school shootings in Canada in response to a shooting on a small college in Houston...you know one of the largest cities in the US and that shooting had a total of 0 people killed and 3 people injured. School shootings in the US are covered overtly close by every media outlet in the US and probably Canada so it probably makes Canadians perceive this as an epidemic in the US while like Canada a good portion of the shootings are most likely what you call a "beef".

Just found out my Aunt has just died and that my Uncle may not be far behind her; turns out he's got liver cancer. My mother's devastated because she hasn't spoken to her brother in years.

Thanks. I'd just found out she'd been battling breast cancer for 8 years. She was only 58, not exactly old.

My old high school has a yearly ceremony to honor those who were injured or killed in the Polytechnique and Dawson shootings, it isn't a US-exclusive thing. It happens everywhere.

I had a friend who's sister was in a coma after the Dawson college shooting actually, that was rough.
