I am surprised that no one has started this thread yet.

I know this is an MMA website but I bet that there are some Boxing Fans out there.

I just love the sport of fighting in general and I have been raised by boxing.

So in this Thread we can discuss the "Sweet Science"

such as
Past Fights
Upcoming Events
Favorite Fighters
and Historical Figures in the Sport

Because like MMA in the US, Boxing started out illegal. But where it took MMA less than 25 years to gain the General populations approval, It took boxing over 100 years.

Discuss and have fun.

Ryan Garcia's fight got cancelled after his opponent got arrested lmao
 https://www.boxingnews24.com/2019/09/avery-sparrow-arrested-ryan-garcia-fight-off/
They tried to make Duno vs Garcia happen since both were on the same card and Duno's opponent missed weight. Garcia's team declined to make that fight because Romero Duno is "too tough"

I think Ortiz might upset Wilder.

idk why, but I think this might be a Joshua vs Ruiz situation. Ortiz looks like he is in incredible shape and is better conditioned.

So basically if Wilder doesn't finish it in 3, I think Ortiz might end it in 6.

How about a little chaos right? lol

The scorecards before the KO.

58-56, 59-55, 59-55 all for Ortiz.

Looks like Wilder's strategy of getting worked and clipped until someone gets tired or overexcited is a bold plan Cotton and it looks like it's been paying off. But yeah, he proves that at heavyweight that it only takes 1 shot.

Which is ******* insane because physically, he rocks 215 give or take, so all that muscle is dense and he uses that length to basically throw his right hand like you'd crack a whip. There's always that last second acceleration that fascinates me that you rarely get from a boxer. Thomas Hearns is probably the closest that comes in recent memory, but that is only in comparison of length and not in style.

Wilder is simply unique and there isn't another heavyweight like him in history I can remember. But seriously, let's mix **** up Al Haymon, Fury is there, let's get that done, and then actually do others in the top 5.

Now curiosity has me interested about Wilder vs Ruiz.

Joshua is going to coast forever and not want to risk anything else.

I have no idea why Ruiz would put on 20 lbs compared to his first fight when it was a short notice one.

Wilder and Fury would still beat AJ.

Ruiz needs to adjust, because he can be a world beater when he can be. I just don't know what the hell happened. Basically AJ won the fight with a jab.
