Kim got really ****y about his last fight with Maia and paid for it dearly early in the fight and Thiago just had the quickest loss of his career dealt to him by Siyar tough call but I am gonna give it to Kim.

Thiago is a very good fighter but leaves the advantage almost everywhere to Kim. Kim will be taller, longer, imo have a little better standup, and, even though Thiago has Judo cred, Kim will have the advantage there. Thiago will have a bjj advantage but based on Kim's size, Judo prowess and consistency he faces no big danger there. I see little difference in power and chin strength, although I think Kim could rock Thiago once or more, but still don't see a finish as very likely either way and think Kim will come back strong after a disappointing loss. Kim via decision.

I would have thought Paulo Thiago would have been on a Brazilian card being that he is a member of the BOPE. He will easily get the most support out of the fighters on those cards other than maybe a few legends when it comes to the audience.

Paulo Thiago magically overcomes Kim's greater strength and toughness by virtue of being one of my favorite fighters. It doesn't hurt that Thiago's B.O.P.E squadmates have Kim's entire family tied to chairs in a nondescript cinderblock-walled room with flickery fluorescent lights and the omnipresent sound of dripping water (or is it blood?) and faint sobbing from adjoining rooms.
