I'm rolling on the ground laughing.  You guys are too much.  God bless you AnikM.  A sense of humor is a mighty tool for survival.  But doesn't it appear that my prediction, weird and unlikely as it sounded, has merit?  2012 will go down as a year the UFC would like to not remember.

So many things that might have broken in our favor, didn't.  Couture recently said he got out the right time, Fedor will not be getting better and coming over, Jon Jones gets arrested, BJ is playing games with his career, Nick Diaz didn't get a break . . . On and on and on.

Jon Jones getting arrested is the most obvious item proving my premise.  How likely was THAT??

Sure things might improve down the road.  Anderson Silva will come back and God willing, keep winning.  GSP will come back and resume his winning ways.  Overeem, Diaz, GSP should all return and help.  Lesnar might even return but I doubt it.  

Do right by life and God and they do right by you.  Good things happen.  Mess with the Law of Karma, do wrong, and bad things happen.  Simple as that.  Plain as the nose on your face.

I disagree with Gilbert Melendez being beyond Dana White's control.  Gilbert Melendez did sign an extended contract with Strikeforce before they were bought by Zuffa.

But since Zuffa can release him from his Strikeforce contract if they wanted to, why doesn't Zuffa choose to want to release him from his contract.  Gilbert wants to come to the UFC.

I say, "Release him from his contract, Zuffa!  Zuffa can do what they like.  So why don't they like?
