FROM FIGHT PROMOTION LEGEND FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP (WWW.LEGENDFC.COM):

After finishing high school, Crawley spent seven years in the New Zealand army, where he first trained in Boxing and Wrestling. A year after leaving the army, he began training in MMA, taking his first professional fight only three months later. Although well-versed in grappling, Crawley prefers to keep his fights standing, utilizing his excellent takedown defense to keep his opponents on their feet, and using his aggressive striking and brutal ground-and-pound to devastating effect. He is currently a constable in the Auckland City Police and is proud to represent New Zealand MMA.
