Aliev Makhmud Wiki

A two time freestyle wrestling champion from his native Azerbaijan. Aliev Makhmud had only one fight in his mma career, but it would leave a lasting impact on fans minds forever.
Making his debut against Japanese veteran Kiyoshi Tamura, Aliev would start with a series of fast punches and wild but whiffing spinning kicks while also bizarrely jumping around, Sometimes landing his groin on Tamuras knee. After a few minutes, an exhausted Aliev would ask for the fight to be stopped but strangely his corner and the referee refused. Backing himself into a corner and shaking his head, Aliev would force his corner to throw in the towel. A strange ending to perhaps the strangest bout in the history of mixed martial arts.
