Kurosawa is a Straw weight fighter for Shooto. He was the 2013 Shooto Flyweight (115 lbs) Rookie Tournament champion, he won the title by defeating Sho Nishida by guillotine. Kurosawa is currently participating in Shooto's Flyweight (115 lbs) Infiniti Tournament, he won his first fight of the tourney by unanimous decision over Tateo Iino.


Kurosawa would then go on to face Masayoshi Kato at Shooto Gig West Vol. 16 on July 6, 2014. Kurosawa would win the bout via unanimous decision, pushing his undefeated record to 5-0.


At Shooto 7th Round 2014, Kurosawa would fight Ryuto Sawada, emerging with a unanimous decision verdict from the judges.


Kurosawa would next face Atsushi Takeuchi at Shooto: The Rookie Tournament Final 2014 on December 21, 2014. Kurosawa would best his opponent, earning a KO victory.


Kurosawa's next bout would mark the end of his eight fight winning streak. At Shooto - Mobstyles 15th Anniversary Tour Fight & Mosh, Kurosawa would square off against Junji Ito. Ito would go on to knock Kurosawa out in the first round.
