Jamil Coleman was born in Houston Texas in 1988. He graduated High school in Huntsville Texas in 2006. He grew up Playing football, Power lifting and bowling but has always wanted to train Boxing karate and wrestling. Started Training Boxing in 2012 under Conroe Pound for pound boxing under Fernando Garcia Jr. Started Training Korean Karate and Mixed Martial Arts later in 2012 under his friend DJ Hayes at Tookan Martial arts in Odessa Tx. In mid 2013 he went back to Conroe Texas due to work relocation he went back to Conroe Pound4Pound He started Training in the art of Brazilian Jiujitsu under his friend Shawn Key at iron mantis BJJ and started Muay Thai training Under His Friend Manny. 2 Years later after receiving his Blue Belt under Shawn he Joined the US ARMY in 2015. He moved to fort Carson, Colorado Springs mid 2016 where he continued his BJJ training under William Hosken of CSBJJ and his MMA training Under Marvin Kim of Colorado Springs Kickboxing in efforts of Competing in Mixed Martial Arts Despite Deploying for the US Army. He has competed Mixed Martial Arts for the All-Army Combative Team fort Carson Taking Second Place in the All-army Combative Tournament in 2018. He has competed in numerous IBJJF tournaments as well as Competing on the F2W Pro Stage. He is Also a MACP instructor, and he teaches BJJ at his school as an assistant Instructor.
