Lentz and Dunham met in the final preliminary fight in a lightweight.
The fighters exchanges strikes to start the bout, with both landing power shots before Lentz got Dunham down. Dunham got up quickly and the two went back to striking. Dunham rocked Lentz with a counter, but Lentz got inside and roughed Dunham up in the clinch. Dunham caught Lentz in a Guillotine on the feet, but Lentz escaped. Dunham took Lentz to the mat and landed some strikes from the guard.
Dunham took Lentz down at the beginning of the second and moved to side control. Lentz scrambled back to his feet and the two exchanged punches from close range before Dunham pressed Lentz against the fence. Dunham landed a one-two in the center of the cage as Lentz moves doggedly forward. Dunham rocked Lentz with a punch and Lentz fired back, then Dunham got another takedown against the cage. Dunham caught Lentz in a tight front choke but Lentz escaped. Lentz escaped to his feet and Dunham continued to land hard punches as Lentz moved forward.
The doctor stopped the fight between rounds due to Lentz's left eye swelling shut, possibly due to a broken orbital.
