Carlo Prater vs. Cameron Dollar

The main event of Legacy Fighting Championship 7 featured Carlo "Neo" Prater taking on Cameron "Money Man" Dollar in a lightweight contest.

Prater came out and landed a quick low kick. The fighters clinched and Prater wrestled Dollar to the mat. Prater began snaking his way around to the back and then as Dollar stood back up he was able to pull him back down the mat. Cameron Dollar threw his legs up a few times looking to get something going off of his back, but Prater calmly sat on top delivering ground and pound. The elbows from Prater on top landed heavily and opened up a big cut on Dollar's head. Referee Kerry Hatley paused the fight to have the cut inspected, and the fight was quickly restarted back on the ground with Prater on top in guard. Prater landed a couple more elbows before the round came to a close.

Dollar came out aggressively in the second and landed several punches. A spinning back kick to the body landed from Prater and the round was off to a fast pace. Prater changed levels and hit a single leg takedown, bring Dollar down and working for a kimura from half-guard. Into side control and Prater torqued a nasty looking kimura deeply behind Dollar's back in a gruesome angle. Dollar fought it off for a few seconds before tapping to the dangerous arm lock.

The official end came at 1:53 due to a kimura for the winner, Carlo "Neo" Prater. Speaking to Frank Trigg in the post-fight interview, Prater commented, "Honestly, the game plan was just win the fight, I didn't care how I won... my ultimate goal is to make a living for myself and support my family... this is my 40th fight, my first professional fight was in Houston, my 40th was also here and everyone supports me here... it's a gradual process, trials and experimentation, I've lost a lot of fights in my career... I just turned 30 and I've got a good 10 years ahead of me still, I want to win belts and championships."
