Wow.. it didn't even cross my mind.

Definitely crazy on Green's management side, how much time will have passed since the KO ?  I was expecting a longer break for him.

almost exactly 4.5 months since that crime was committed in Austin. I have heard bobby say he has to fight bc of child support payments, but even if he is getting a pay bump for being on 300 I thought that his medical suspension would be at least 6 months.... Considering volk's is 6 months min.

Hills current 4 fight win streak, which spans the last 2.5 years, includes 3 wins against guys who are now retired. His highest ranked win is current #7 Johnny Walker.

Poatan has had his entire UFC career occur in basically the same time frame. He fought Michialidis exactly one month before Hill fought Crute. This includes wins over the current #2 and #4 LHWs.

Jamaal Hill saying this fight is a "mismatch" is pure delusion. I'm not sure I've ever been more certain someone was gonna get knocked the **** out.

Hill is doing the right thing tho, saying this fight is a "mismatch" is confidence, not delusion, he’ll be ****** if he was otherwise, You have to believe in yourself or your done, confidence is key in this game.Imagine if  instead, he say what the fans think the fight will go, "Alex Perreria would whoop my ass, I don’t want the fight and I’m scared, Alex will knock my block off.

Also, a big part of this game is promoting, getting people to care gets you more money, chatting **** get you paid more, You should talk a big game

I think a lot of people don't realize Hill is a savage, his eyes tell you a lot about him. People talking ****, this and that, Alex has incredibly weak defence and is gonna pay for it as Hill will find the opening and it's not like he's not doing his home work.

Alex has the hands to delete anyone from consciousness, but so does Hill. Often when these type of fights happen, you can get a stalemate but both these guys are savage. Hill is going to find that opening, and come on guys watch Alex fight he's all offence and no defence.

Hill completely out classed Glover, and don't say some ******** that Glover was off or done at this point, he was not it was just a masterclass. He's fat? He's overconfident? Talking ****? This is a man and I've mentioned this before but he has paid the price for his overconfidence in the Craig fight, he got his arm completely dislocated, instead of leaving the cage he stood there for the fight winner announcement holding his arm.

He continued to fight, punch with his other arm, Hill said this was a learning lesson on his overconfidence, and I believe he's worked on it and this truly confidence from him, a lot of people are talking **** about Hill but the man speaks what he believes and how else do you expect him to speak?

Str.Defence of Pereira is 50% against 47% of Jamahal hill. Pereira also fought much better competition.
So I don't know how you can say that Pereira is all offence and no defence while Hill no lol

Both have problems in the striking defense department tbh. It's just that Alex usually is with his hands way too low and depends way more on his reflexes which makes people think he is all offense, but Hill is not Adesanya with his defense.

What makes me confident about Alex is that he doesn't seem chinny in light heavy as he was in middleweight.

Hill packs a great amount of power, so I wouldn't be surprised if he knocks Pereira out, but coming off an injury like that doesn't make me feel comfortable picking him to win this fight.

I can’t pick against Alex when he fighting people who ain’t wrestler because it proven time and again that he’s can stuff non wrestlers takedowns and we all know Alex Perreria kickboxing. But I also do really rate Jamahal kickboxing, if they were anyone to beat Alex standing it be Jamahal, in his last fight he landed 232 significant strike which is insane for a guy who 100kg

205lb is the best division for Alex, No one can really offensive wrestle well, Ankaliev is the only good wrestler there

Ankaliev is just about the only fighter at 205 that would be a true nightmare matchup for Alex

Ankalaev would probably try to do the same thing he did against Blachowicz, which would be his downfall.

If he comes with a heavy wrestling gameplan, it's game over for Poatan though.

But again, Ankalaev felt in love with striking, so Poatan would have a good chance.

To be honest I am a big fan of Bo Nickal, especially since his grappling bout vs. Gordon Ryan. From my point of view Nickal is the great hope of seeing another decorated Folkstyle Wrestler be dominant in the UFC and in a division like the Middleweights where the majority are strikers with no or little ground game (offensive or defensive) fighters like DuPlessis, the new version of Cannonier, Chimaev, Ikram, Actual version of Brendan Allen, Fluffy Hernandez, Pyfer (despite losing to Jack), the new version of Edmen (perhaps in his last fight he was rocked on feet, but he made his way in top position and bottom position to stay in fight) and of course Bo Nickal are a fresh air in the division.

But the fact that this sport increasingly resembles boxing in the negative aspects is undeniable: we have increasingly lousy judges, unclear rules criteria (especially in the aspect of faults and scoring criteria), conveniences in doping controls (Walt Harris was a scapegoat for the new doping agency), we have Dana White attempting the Jones vs. Miocic, when there is already an Interim Champion ready to fight at any time and we have fighters who have had a tailor-made approach towards a title shot and sincerely of all the fights, it only made sense to me that Bo Nickal was scheduled on the Main Card at UFC 290.
