Wiki

Yuta Nezu Wiki

Nezu is a Bantamweight fighter for Shooto, he has also fought in VTJ and Valkyrie. He is best known for his kicks, many times his most used strike in fights. He has notable wins over Kota Onojima (twice), Motonobu Tezuka, and "Wicky" Nishiura

After a rough 1-3 stretch that saw him lose to Onojima, Kyoji Horiguchi, and Naohiro Mizuno, Nezu has been on a tear winning 5 fights in a row. The most recent outing in that streak saw Nezu become the Shooto Featherweight (133 lbs) Pacific Rim champion when he beat Onojima in their rubber match at Shooto 2nd Round 2014.

On September 27, 2014, Nezu faced Keita Ishibashi at Shooto - 7th Round 2014. Nezu would go on to defeat Ishibashi via KO with only three seconds left in the second round.

Nezu would next face Raja Shippen at Shooto - "Mobstlyes 15th Anniversary Tour Fight and Mosh" on May 3, 2015. Nezu won the bout via unanimous decision, bringing his win streak to seven straight fights.
