  1. 1

    "Magnum" Weili Zhang
    Weili Zhang
    "Magnum"
    25-3-0
-Elite fighter, former champ. Seems very built for this division. Good stand up, wrestling, can do it all. Her defense on her back is good, but she was not great at getting back to her feet, being her one weakness I saw. But tough to see many in this division beating her besides the champ.

-She showed her excellent skillsetvs. Joanna. She has clearly improved a lot working with Cejudo. And she arguably beat Rose. She seems like the #1 after Rose's last performance.

-She absolutely dominated Esparza to become champ. Reversed takedowns, looked great standing. I don't really see a weakness, and she might be one of the 3 strongest in the division too. She is the real deal.

-By far the best P4P woman. No one is even close.
  2. 2

    Tatiana Suarez
    Tatiana Suarez
    10-0-0
Wow. Incredible performance vs. Andrade. She is huge for this division, and her wrestling and grappling are top notch. She doesn't look too comfortable standing, but she gets the takedown immediately when opponents open up. Very talented, but she would be even better if she could expand her stand up.
  3. 3

    Virna "Carcará" Jandiroba
    Virna Jandiroba
    "Carcará"
    20-3-0
-Good fighter. Likes to grapple, but couldn't take ribas down much or do much from the top. Stand up is apparently improving, but she still has a ways to go there

-Showcased very good wrestling and grappling vs. Hill. Some good submission attempts, and a bit of GNP. Seems very strong for this division too. Good fighter.

-Dominated Rodriguez with her wrestling. She just feels strong as hell for this division, not killing it standing, but is passable there.
  4. 4

    "The Cookie Monster" Carla Esparza
    Carla Esparza
    "The Cookie Monster"
    19-7-0
A wrestler. Her wrestling is elite but she doesn't seem great at much else. But wrestling is enough sometimes. She is the champ, but won with a very unimpressive performance.

-Lost to Zhang. The wrestling had its moments, but she got reversed a few times. I feel like she can still lay and pray to several victories, but if the grappling is good enough from her opponent, and they pressure her, she is probably in trouble.
  5. 5

    Amanda "Amandinha" Lemos
    Amanda Lemos
    "Amandinha"
    14-3-1
Very good stand up fighter. Has power, nice kicks. Her cardio wore down a bit as she went. Can grapple and wrestle as well, very solid fighter.
    Mich
-Looked pretty damn good standing vs. Andrade before she got submitted. Her performance before losing actually made me feel even better about her.

-Nice performance vs. Michelle Waterson. She has nice size for the division, looked solid standing, and landed an awesome guillotine to win. She did get taken down a few times which concerned me, but thats how she got the finish.

-Very impressive performance vs. Marina Rodriguez. She is the real deal. Looked good standing, has excellent power, and showed pretty good wrestling and grappling too. She got embarrassed by Andrade but she is still very good.

-Lost badly to Zhang. Her takedown D was no match for Zhang. She had a few nice sub attempts, but just wasn't in her league anywhere else.
  6. 6

    Jéssica "Bate Estaca" Andrade
    Jéssica Andrade
    "Bate Estaca"
    26-12-0
Got dominated by Suarez. She is on a bit of a losing streak. She is aggressive and talented standing. Maybe she has taken too much damage, as she fights a lot. And she isn't as technical as some of the best.

-Wrecked Machenzie Dern. She got tagged a few times, but at this weight class, in a pure stand up fight, she can still beat almost everyone.
  7. 7

    Marina Rodriguez
    Marina Rodriguez
    17-4-2
-Top tier stand up fighter. Pretty good takedown defense, and very solid defense on the ground as well. Has a great formula to win many fights standing

-Looked great again vs. Xiaonan in a very close and tough fight. She is a very technical stand up fighter, good speed and technique. Can grapple a bit too, just an all around great fighter, though I can't help but feel like she is a step below the very best.

-Tough loss to Lemos. I think her lack of power hurts her a bit, as she got hit hard by Lemos and couldn't respond. She was competent grappling, but did get her back taken as well. A few steps short of the best, there are a lot of closely matches fighters where she is.

-Lost to Virna. The takedown D just isn't good enough, and she feels like she isn't as strong as some of the best in the division.

-She beat the hell out of Michelle Waterson. Still has the skills to take on most of the division.
  8. 8

    "Nine" Xiaonan Yan
    Xiaonan Yan
    "Nine"
    17-4-0, 1 NC
Excellent stand up fighter, can compete with some of the best there. Disciplined, has speed, maybe wore down a touch vs. Marina, as round 1 was her best round. Very good, but maybe just below the best.

-Had a nice 5 round performance vs. Dern. Solid stand up again. Showed very good submission D, but had a hard time getting out of bad positions. But she mostly kept it standing. I think her takedown D is solid, but not absolutely elite, but she is very solid.
  9. 9

    "The Tiny Tornado" Tecia Torres
    Tecia Torres
    "The Tiny Tornado"
    13-6-0
Skilled stand up fighter. Nice speed and movement. Works the body and legs too. Does a pretty good job of keeping the fight standing. She is a bit short though, and doesn't have huge power so she never finishes fights. But she is very solid.
  10. 10

    Loma Lookboonmee
    Loma Lookboonmee
    9-3-0
Muay Thai fighter. I think she was slightly hesitant to use that stand up due to facing a great wrestler. She showed some good takedown defense early, but then that faltered. Had some grappling ability, but not on the level of Loopy. Just a solid but unspectacular fighter thus far.

-Looked a lot better vs. Gomes. She showed surprising wrestling skills, some grappling, GNP, and she is of course good standing. She took some time off and looks like she got better. Got tagged, and almost got caught in some submissions, so has more to do, but i'm seeing the potential.

-Looked really solid vs. Elise Reed. Her leg kicks were brutal, and she showed way improved ground game and takedowns. She did get taken down once, and her hand speed wasn't as good as you'd like. She didn't fight a wrestler, so takedown D still could be an issue, but she really feels like she is improving.

  12. 11

    Yazmin Jauregui
    Yazmin Jauregui
    11-1-0
Made her UFC debut and she is a HIGH level stand up fighter. Only 23. Great hand speed and combinations. Showed some takedown defense too. My one criticism would be that her power doesn't seem amazing, but she is VERY skilled, and still young.

-More of the same vs. Nunes. Did get tagged once, but stayed composed, and returned fire well. And got a finish, so she can have some power. Still really like her game, showed solid GNP skills too.

-KO'd by Gomes. I still like her, she got caught, didn't see enough to seriously downgrade her, as I still think she is very skilled.
  13. 12

    Iasmin Lucindo
    Iasmin Lucindo
    15-5-0
Man, she is a beast. Still young. Still not the most technical, but she has power standing, and she showcased her wrestling and grappling too. Very skilled, and a dawg.
  14. 13

    Mackenzie Dern
    Mackenzie Dern
    13-5-0
BJJ expert. But is starting to get pretty skilled standing too. Good length for the division. Great skillset, though she needs to get a bit better standing to be truly elite.

-More of the same vs. Yan. Solid standing. Excellent grappling, but she doesn't always have the tools to get it to the ground, but she had a few sequences where she got it there, and she is dominant on the ground. Very good fighter.

-Impressive performance vs. Angela Hill, Looked solid standing, some great power, and then when it's on the ground, her grappling is elite. I feel like she has gotten a lot better consistently, which makes sense with her age.

-Very tough to rank at this point. She had some OK moments standing vs. Andrade, but her defense was terrible, and she got rocked a bunch. She is very dangerous, but the stand up isn't where I thought it would be.
  15. 14

    Angela "Overkill" Hill
    Angela Hill
    "Overkill"  |  16-13-0
Very experienced and talented fighter. Not really a power striker, but tons of volume, can work on the ground, and her cardio is insane. This puts her in a lot of close decisions though.

-More of the same vs. Virna. She just couldn't stop the takedowns from a very good wrestler. Actually had some good grappling and submission defense, but couldn't mount enough offense back. Still very good.

-Had a great performance vs. Loopy. Got rocked early, but recovered, looked great standing, very technical. Showed much better takedown defense too. Had a nice guillotine attempt when she did get taken down. Any fight she is in will probably be pretty close.

-Really took care of business vs. Emily Ducote. She was so active all fight, and just outclassed her. Excellent muay thai in the clinch. When she is not worried about takedowns, she can be really good. She is 37, but maybe she is getting better.

-Got worked by Mackenzie Dern. Lost standing, and got outgrappled by a master there. She is getting older, so might be slowing down, but I still think she is good.

-Beat Gomes. It was close early, but she did a great job of pulling away with superior cardio, and she started using some grappling and wrestling too. The perfect gatekeeper.
  16. 15

    "Thunder" Josefine Knutsson
    Josefine Knutsson
    "Thunder"  |  7-0-0
Very interesting prospect from Road to UFC. She has a kickboxing background and clearly has skill there, very technical, maybe not as active as I'd like but she was good. Then she just seemed extremely strong in the clinch, and her sprawl was good. Has a great formula for winning fights, I just want to see her against better foes.

-Dominated Mann. I don't think Mann is good, but man she seems to have all the skills. Showed good ground control, did damage, and the kickboxing is great. And she just seems strong. I just need to see her against a slightly better foe.
  17. 16

    Amanda Ribas
    Amanda Ribas
    12-5-0
Interesting fight vs. Pinheiro. She had a rough round 1, but adjusted well and got a KO in round 3. She definitely gets hit. Has good grappling. Very well rounded, but I'm worried about the damage.
  18. 17

    Lupita "Loopy" Godinez
    Lupita Godinez
    "Loopy"  |  12-4-0
Dominated Elise Reed. Had some great boxing moments, and the grappling remains strong. I still think her stand up isn't quite on the level of some of the best, but she is very well rounded and good.

-Won a very close fight with Ricci. It could have gone either way, but her boxing remains solid.
  19. 18

    Tabatha "Baby Shark" Ricci
    Tabatha Ricci
    "Baby Shark"  |  9-2-0
-Short, even for this division, but she is an explosive athlete. Great at getting in close and swinging. Great wrestling, and good at getting it to the ground for GNP. Might not do as well against someone with elite takedown defense, but she works hard and is aggressive and should be in a lot of fun fights.

-More of the same vs. Viana. Pretty good wrestling, though she didn't do much with it. Solid stand up, though he size always makes things more of a challenge there. She is solid but not amazing.

-Great performance vs. Penne with her judo/wrestling and then submitted her. Penne didn't look great though, and I still worry a bit about her size, but man she seemed stronger than I've seen her, so maybe shes getting bigger.

-She looked excellent for Gillian. Really technical standing, plus wrestling. She is a beast and I'm starting to believe in her more.

-Couldn't take down Loopy. She did hold up well standing, but was just behind. very close fight, and still very skilled.
  20. 19

    Eduarda "Ronda" Moura
    Eduarda Moura
    "Ronda"  |  10-0-0
Had a beast of a performance against Ruiz. She missed weight, but definitely has a lot of size for this division. Stand up wasn't technical to me, but she has power, and she definitely can wrestle. She fought a very small opponent, curious to see her against better opponents.
  21. 20

    Karolina Kowalkiewicz
    Karolina Kowalkiewicz
    16-7-0
-Invited penne to the ground, then got submitted. I wasn't too impressed.

-She went to a new camp and looked way better against Felice Herring. Stand up is pretty good, nice combos though I don't think she had great power. Had nice grappling and wrestling as well. Very good overall performance. She used to be one of the best in the division and she seems to have her fire back.

-Picked up a nice win vs. Silvana. She couldn't get her wrestling going vs. a weaker ground fighter, but she did have moments. And she actually held up really well standing. But she did seem to get tired and didn't come across as anyone beating the top fighters.

-Another solid fight. She was pretty good standing, and threw in some wrestling. Well rounded and tough.

-Beat belbita. Had a really nice stand up performance. Was close, but she pulled away.
  22. 21

    "The Karate Hottie" Michelle Waterson-Gomez
    Michelle Waterson-Gomez
    "The Karate Hottie"  |  18-12-0
She seems small for this division. Has OK stand up but she mostly stays far away and punches air. Her most impressive skill vs. Lemos was actually wrestling, had a good takedown and some GNP. But she was caught in a guillotine the 2nd time.

Had a better performance vs. Luana. She kicks a lot of air, but she can keep people away. She at least stays very active too. And her takedown D and O are both solid. Not exciting, but she is a tough out for anyone.

-Got annihilated by Marina Rodriguez. She just isn't on the level of the best.
  23. 22

    Luana Pinheiro
    Luana Pinheiro
    11-2-0
-Very solid prospect. Comfortable on her feet, and has power. Great throws and wrestling, though she had issues getting a lot of GNP done with her takedowns. Some worries about her activity levels, as cardio struggled, but she is someone that has room to get even better.

-Had an OK fight vs. Waterson Gomez. She won, but I had her losing. She has power, but she can gas herself out, and she got outpointed near the end. Wrestling was not effective either, but she is tough.

-Lost vs. Ribas. Had a decent round 1, but was still wild. Throws big haymakers. Kind of tired herself out I think. I feel good about having her ranked here.
  24. 23

    Gillian "The Savage" Robertson
    Gillian Robertson
    "The Savage"  |  13-8-0
First time at 115, and I think she is so much better here. She is not a great stand up fighter, but her wrestling and grappling are so good, that can be enough. Once she gets you to the ground, you are probably not getting up.

-More of the same vs. Ricci. She got outclassed standing, and then couldn't wrestle vs. Ricci. She still needs to round out her game more if she wants to be truly great.
  25. 24

    Seo Hee "Hamderlei Silva" Ham
    Seo Hee Ham
    "Hamderlei Silva"  |  26-9-0
Well rounded fighter. Has nice kickboxing, excellent takedown defense, and she wrestled a bit too and used GNP well. Very solid. ONE fighter.

-Won vs. Hirata, but didn't kill it. Still looks solid all around, but she isn't special in any particular regard.
  26. 25

    Cory "Poppins" McKenna
    Cory McKenna
    "Poppins"  |  8-3-0
Only 21. Good movement standing, but she is not terribly effective there. Had good wrestling, but weirdly didn't use it much. Didn't do tons of damage on the ground. Shes OK but has more work to do.

-Showed that wrestling vs. Miranda Grainger. Took her down and submitted her pretty easily. But Im not sure Grainger is very good so tough to really uprank her. She is the youngest female on the roster though, so lots of room to grow.

-Very nice win vs. Cheyenne Vlismas. She once again isn't amazing standing, but she can avoid getting tagged and hold her own there. She showed very strong wrestling and grappling though, great at keeping top position, Maybe not great at doing damage with it, but she can probably win lot of fights with the wrestling.
  27. 26

    Stamp Fairtex
    Stamp Fairtex
    11-2-0
ONE fighter. Excellent stand up, then got taken down but had great submission ability on her back. She seemed very good.

vs. Angela Lee, she showed some nice stand up, and showed submission defense, but she spent almost the whole fight losing the grappling war. Was a Muay Thai fighter, so might not be close to that level yet on the ground.

-Nice win vs. Jihan. Her grappling looks way better now. Still not 100% sold om her takedown D, but she holds up pretty well for the most part vs. lesser foes at least. And with the kickboxing and muay thai background, her stand up is SHARP. Good ONE fighter.

-More of the same. She showed some grappling ability by taking her opponents back, and won with a nasty liver kick. Only 25 so she could be getting better. Held up on the takedown D, but her opponent was not great.
  28. 27

    Denice "The Menace" Zamboanga
    Denice Zamboanga
    "The Menace"  |  10-2-0
Good wrestling and BJJ. Just wasn't good enough vs. Seo Hee. Showed decent stand up too. Pretty solid, but a bit below the best in ONE.

-Really nice performance in ONE. Her stand up looked crisp + power. Showed good defensive grappling, and some offensive stuff too. She is 26 so might be reaching her peak.
  29. 28

    Denise "Dee" Gomes
    Denise Gomes
    "Dee"  |  8-3-0
Lost to Loma but I liked a lot of what I saw. Had some moments standing, and grappling she was quite good, got into dangerous positions several times. She took a lot of damage getting to those positions, and accepted takedowns too easily though. Got judo tripped too easily. But she seems dangerous everywhere, and I expect her to go up these ranks over time.

-Went back and saw her DWCS fight. She was very active, had nice power. She looked acceptable standing. Loved the leg kicks too. Wasn't elite but solid enough there.

-Beat Bruna Brasil. She showed she is a dawg in a lot of ways. But she also didn't look technical at all. She can kind of wrestle, and she just throws. The dawg can win you fights, but I question how she will do against the best.

-KO'd Yazmin. It was a one shotter, which can be fluky, but she definitely has power.

-More of the same vs. Hill. She is tough as hell and has great power, but she seemed to wear down more as the fight went on, and started losing in the clinch and with some of the wrestling. Definitely dangerous though.
  30. 29

    "No Chill" Tiffany Teo
    Tiffany Teo
    "No Chill"  |  11-2-0
Great win vs. Ritu in ONE. She has nice size for this division, and her grappling is top tier. Didn't show many other skills, but the takedown D, grappling and size might be enough to win a lot of fights.
  31. 30

    Cheyanne "The Warrior Princess" Vlismas
    Cheyanne Vlismas
    "The Warrior Princess"  |  7-3-0
-She really impressed me. Knocked out De Paula quick with a kick. Went for a takedown when she had the opportunity too. Skilled stand up fighter for sure.

-Against Mallory Martin, she remained super impressive. Crisp stand up, great angles, and she showed strong stand up defense. She is going to rise up this division fast I believe. Maybe could use more kicks, but the boxing is excellent.

-Lost to Mckenna. Couldn't really do tons to her standing, and then got taken down too many times. The grappling doesn't look terrible, and she is active on her back to a point where you could almost argue she won some rounds that were marked against her, but with the way a lot of judges score fights, if she can't stop takedowns, she will lose.
  32. 31

    Emily "Gordinha" Ducote
    Emily Ducote
    "Gordinha"  |  13-8-0
Solid performance against Yoder. She hit the bigger shots. Solidly technical standing. Did struggle with Yoder's range in spots, but she can handle herself well.
  33. 32

    Cynthia Calvillo
    Cynthia Calvillo
    9-6-1
Had a decent stand up performance vs. Loopy. It was close, but she just didn't land with the same power. Was able to nullify her wrestling and land one takedown herself. She did way better than I had seen from her, maybe 115 is the better weight class for her.
  34. 33

    Ariane "Sorriso" Carnelossi
    Ariane Carnelossi
    "Sorriso"  |  14-3-0
-She is BUILT for this division. Her stand up seemed wild, a good fighter could probably really do damage, but shes also good at walking through punches. Decent wrestling with her size, then was able to do a simple submission. Has potential, but she might rely on her size too much.

-Got dominated vs. Loopy. Got beat standing, and lost wrestling and grappling. Just was not on Loopy's level at all.
  35. 34

    Gloria "Glorinha" de Paula
    Gloria de Paula
    "Glorinha"  |  6-6-0
-Didn't see much because she got k nocked out fast. Seemed like a semi skilled stand up fighter, but didn't have the power that Buys had.

-Against Belbita, she showed she is actually very good standing. Definitely technical there, with some power. Can also get dirty in the clinch. Tried to wrestle but wasn't great there. But a very good stand up fighter.

-More of the same vs. Maria Oliveira. Pretty good stand up, takedown defense doesn't seem great, but had good technical stand up.
  36. 35

    Piera "La Fiera" Rodriguez
    Piera Rodriguez
    "La Fiera"  |  9-1-0
Well rounded, but not exceptional in any regard. Probably best at wrestling.

-More of the same vs. Kay Hansen. Well rounded but not incredible at anything. Kay

-Solid performance vs. Sam Hughes, showed competent enough stand up, and solid wrestling. She is very solid.

-Lost to Gillian, but I think Gillian is really good at this division. Once again, seems fine in most regards, but not wowing me anywhere.
  37. 36

    Diana "The Warrior Princess" Belbiţă
    Diana Belbiţă
    "The Warrior Princess"  |  15-9-0
Mostly a stand up fighter, but got outclassed by De Paula most of the way on the feet. Has a good chin and takedown defense. Definitely has skill standing, but has more work to do there as well.

-Nice stand up performance vs. Oliveira. She has some holes, but has some nice combos, and is a solid stand up fighter. Her takedown D did not look amazing though, which is something to keep an eye on.

-Lost vs. Karolina. She did show improved takedown d and grappling. Her stand up is solid, but I do feel like her head position leaves her vulnerable in spots.
  38. 37

    Ashley "The Spider Monkey" Yoder
    Ashley Yoder
    "The Spider Monkey"  |  8-9-0
Lost vs. Ducote, but I didn't think she looked terrible. She has range for this division, and she knows how to use it, but she just wasn't as crisp as Ducote.
  39. 38

    Kanako Murata
    Kanako Murata
    12-3-0
Lost vs Demopolous. She is kind of small for the division, but she has good wrestling. Doesn't seem to be able to do tons with it, which hurt her, but I think most judges would generally give her that fight.
  40. 39

    Vanessa "Lil Monster" Demopoulos
    Vanessa Demopoulos
    "Lil Monster"  |  10-5-0
Got tagged hard standing, but then got a slick arm bar on the ground. Short fight, so didn't see her tested more, but she can definitely grapple.

-vs. Frey, she looked sloppy standing but she can land big ones on occasion. Wrestling was OK, and she actually looked solid in the clinch most of all. OK performance, but nothing incredible.

-Nice performance vs. Oliveira. She is just good at grinding out wins. She can wrestle, can stand, though man she had some LOOPING punches. She was in trouble a couple of times standing, but the wrestling and GNP remain strong. She seems to be getting better. She still isn't wowing me, but she keeps winning.

-lost vs. Karolina. Just couldn't do tons, got beat standing and had no answers on the ground. She can grind out wins, but probably not vs. top tier opponents.

-Won vs. Murata. She got taken down a bunch, but seemed to have gotten points from work from the bottom. Which is super rare and most judges don't really give you that. Can grind out wins, but her wins rarely make you feel great about her.
  41. 40

    Maria "Spider Girl" Oliveira
    Maria Oliveira
    "Spider Girl"  |  13-7-0
-Long fighter for the division. Has some OK counterpunching but not tons of power. Takedown defense wasn't great. She was OK at getting to her feet from bad positions on the ground, but thats about the only real good thing I can say.

-She showed more of her stuff vs. De Paula. very aggressive stand up, long combos. Not as many kicks, but just lots of activity, plus she is pretty long. Showed some takedown ability too, though her takedown defense still seems meh.

-The takedown defense hurt her bad vs. Vanessa. Standing, she looks good, with some nice long combos, but she got taken down and couldn't get back up which cost her the fight, even though she hurt her standing a few times.

-Lost vs. Belbita. Was too square standing. Showed some wrestling, but couldn't do much with it. She is passable at this division.
  42. 41

    Jihin "Shadowcat" Radzuan
    Jihin Radzuan
    "Shadowcat"  |  9-4-0
Well rounded fighter. Good stand up, bot much power but throws good combos, and has abilities on the ground offensively and defensively. Doesn't seem as strong as some in the division, but very solid.

-Showed great takedown defense vs. Hirata, but couldn't do tons of damagedStill looks quite competent in all regards.

-Lost to Stamp Fairtex. Got beat standing, showed some ground work, but Stamp got out of several bad situations against her. I'd say she seems pretty well rounded still though.
  43. 42

    "Sampage" Sam Hughes
    Sam Hughes
    "Sampage"  |  8-6-0
-An extremely competent fighter. Solid enough on the feet, good cardio, decent takedown defense. But she didn't show me a lot of activity, or ways she could win fights. But she is not an easy out eitherway.

-vs. Nunes, struggled early with Nunes speed standing. Slowly made the fight a bit dirtier, and used some wrestling too. Solid, but I still think she struggles vs. better fighters.

-She has a new camp and that is making her way better. vs. Reed she dominated her on the ground and finished with GNP. Still not great standing, but the wrestling may be enough.

-Struggled a bit vs. Piera Rodriguez, still showed all around competence, but couldn't quite stop all the takedowns. Was OK standing but not great. She is OK, but this feels right around the right rank.

-She won with her cardio vs. a debuting amorin. She got taken down and her back taken in r1, but she survived, and then won with her cardio.
  44. 43

    Jessica Penne
    Jessica Penne

-Very well rounded fighter. Solid stand up, active, submitted Karolina with great ground work

-vs. Emily Ducote, she showed that she is still tough at 39, but just isn't on that elite level standing. I think she can still beat a lot of people outside the top 15 though.

-Weak performance vs. Ricci. Her age might be getting to her. She was taken down too easily a few times, and just couldn't do anything from her back or standing.

Retired now. But a solid fighter, just a few steps below Karolina in every regard. But she was well rounded and solid.

Decent wrestler. Some stand up. Seemed overall competent but not incredible at anything. Only 22 so has a lot of time to develop.

    Polyana "Dama de Ferro" Viana
    Polyana Viana
    "Dama de Ferro"  |  13-7-0
BJJ fighter. Too much confidence in that, as she will accept takedowns and stay on her back way too much. She is long, which helps her stand up a lot, but she is also not super explosive there, and doesn't even seem to want to stand mostly. She was unable to land a submission on the ground vs a very good fighter in Ricci.

vs. Frey, she came in to throw, and she looked great with a fast finish. Great hand speed and power. Frey left herself open a bit, but Viana took advantage. She finishes her fights when she wins. I think theres still a clear method to beating her, wrestling, but she is dangerous in a lot of ways.

-Vs. Lucindo, she got tagged a few times standing, and once again was taken down a few too many times, and was eventually submitted. She is exciting and explosive, but has holes.

I don't think she fought a great fighter, but she had an excellent DWCS debut. She is long, and extremely technical standing, though a big inactive. Her kicks are great. She beat someone who looked a bit lost standing though. Her grappling looked very solid too, she mostly avoided takedowns, but when she did get taken down, she could reverse it. Very curious to see her vs. better foes.

-Had a tough performance vs. Gomes. The inactivity hurt her, and let Gomes pressure her. She wasn't great with range management either and got rocked. Has technical ability, so she should be able to improve with just a different mindset, but that can be hard to do.

-Beat Shauna Bannon. A little more aggressive standing, and she busted out some takedowns in spots. She looks very technical, but she still isn't overwhelming me.

Grappler- showed pretty good wrestling, and powered through an ankle injury which was impressive. But she didn't show an ability to do tons of damage, and didn't look comfortable standing. Also her opponent may not have been great. The wrestling could be enough to win some fights but I definitely need to see more.

-Won in a fluky way vs. Nunes. Tough to say much from it.

-Solid win vs. Jihn Yu Frey. It wasn't overwhelming, but she held up OK standing with her length, and still has the ground skills. She did get taken down once, but she is young and improving.

Debuted against Sam Hughes. She looked great in R1 with her wrestling and BJJ, but then she totally wore down and had nothing left. She didn't look amazing standing either. The BJJ is very dangerous, but she needs more to win fights at this level.

-Beat Ruiz pretty easily. Wasn't a perfect performance, but definitely has grappling, and a little wrestling.

-Seemed outclassed, just didn't quite see what she was good at, short fight, made some mistakes on the ground, takedown defense wasn't great either.

vs. Vanessa she did show that she has great stand up. Packs a lot of power in her punch for this division... but she got caught very quickly when she tried to pursue to the ground, so she clearly seems a bit lost down there.

-vs. Liang Na she showed her stand up is truly electric if she can keep it standing. And she has real power for this division. She stopped a takedown vs. Liang Na. I'm not sure how good Liang is, so will need to see more to see if she is truly improved there.

-vs. Karolina, still showed some of those ground weaknesses. And looked good standing but wasn't overwhelming, and lost plenty there. She has some danger to her, but most decent fighters should take her out.

-Was a decently talented stand up fighter. Landed some great shots going backwards, but didn't have the power to really bother Arianne Carmelossi. OK takedown defense, but got submitted kinda easily once she got taken down. Not bad, but not great.

-Showed great hand speed, had a great round 1, but seemed to wear down or get too predictable. Struggled a bit on the ground again as well. Has talent but really needs to round out her game more.

-Had a few decent moments vs. Yazmin, but once again, seems to get figured out and not adjust as fights go on, and got totally outclassed standing after some early success. She does seem to have nice power. But a few too many holes overall.

-Dislocated her elbow 30 seconds into her fight with Dudakova. Tough to downgrade her from that.

Lost vs. Brasil. Got outclassed early, but late she started to show better stand up, more jabs, looked decent. Got taken down a few times, so also may have a hole there, but I see a little potential.

Weird fight vs. Hannah Goldy. You can see some stand up skill there, but she kept clinching for some reason. Was generally able to stay out of bad situations on the ground, but I wasn't super impressed.

    Elise Reed
    Elise Reed
    7-4-0
Pretty skilled stand up fighter. Great counters. Has some power but didn't totally blow me away. Takedown defense was OK but not exceptional. Pretty competent all around.

-vs. Sam Hughes, her stand up looked OK, but then she just ended up in the clinch and on the ground the whole fight. She wore down too. Tougher performance.

-Had a solid technical performance vs. Melissa Martnez. Decent stand up, and a bit of wrestling won it for her. Had one nice power shot. She is solid.

-Lost to Loma. She was getting LIT UP by leg kicks early. Managed to reverse a takedown to get back in the fight, but then Loma took her down and submitted her pretty quickly in R2. She isn't an easy out but just isn't wowing me.

-Beat Jinh Yu Frey in pretty underwhelming fashion. Her stand up is decent enough. She got taken down a few times which was concerning.

-Dominated by Loopy. She is tough, but got outclassed pretty much everywhere.

    Jinh Yu Frey
    Jinh Yu Frey
    11-10-0
Technical stand up fighter. Not a lot of power which I think costs her with the judges. Pretty good takedown defense, but she did get caught in the clinch a fair bit, and took damage from there. Out in the open she is decent enough though.

-Got caught and lit up by Viana, finished quickly. Seemed like just bad luck for her, it was so quick it's tough to downgrade her, but she is 37 and maybe that damage will affect her going forward.

-Lost to Elise Reed. Was just pretty inactive. Did some wrestling, but did 0 damage with it. Stand up is just OK at best.

-Lost vs. Dudakova. She showed well rounded skills, but had 0 urgency and didn't wow me anywhere.

-Tough, strong fighter. Not elite at stand up, but solid, good ground defense, and has the ability to dish it out on the ground too. Probably loses to good stand up fighters with takedown defense, but also can definitely give lesser fighters big issues.

-Lost vs. Ham. Didn't look great standing. Showed a little wrestling, but once again, couldn't do anything with it. She is underwhelming, but I could see her stealing some decisions with pure ground control.

Decent fighter. Has good stand up and ground work, but she's newer and not super explosive or overwhelming in any regard. Well rounded though, and pretty ripped for the division.

-In her 2nd DWCS she really underwhelmed. Just couldn't stop takedowns or grapple well at all. Her opponent hurt her knee and she still couldn't do much. She isn't terrible, but very disappointing performance.

    Marnic Mann
    "The Sawed-Off Savage"  |  6-2-0
She looks like a pretty beasty wrestler, and she had a few moments there, but she did not look great standing. Didn't seem to have much understanding of angles, and really left herself open there. Got taken out with a head kick. The wrestling might be decent, but she has A LOT of standing holes, and she got reversed multiple times while on top on the ground.

-She got dominated by Knuttson. Wasn't as strong, wasn't great off her back, and got lit up standing.
  72. 71

    Ye Dam Seo
    Ye Dam Seo

More of a grappler. She got stymied hard in her road to UFC match by Knuttson, but I think knutson might just be really good. Was tepid standing and outmuscled in the clinch. I saw some skill but she was out of her league.
