I went back and watched all of these fights within the span of a couple days. What a treat!!

1
- Lawler vs. MacDonald II
- Robbie Lawler | KO/TKO | Round 5
- 2015 | UFC 189

This fight has a slow build to it that just develops into an absolute classic. So much blood, so much damage which culminates with an absolute amazing finish! This is what you ask for in a UFC title fight and it delivers it on a bloody platter.

2
- Zhang vs. Jędrzejczyk
- Weili Zhang | Decision
- 2020 | UFC 248
-
This fight may hold the record for most "OOOOH's!" in a single fight. 351 significant strikes landed! Amazing from the opening bell to the very end when a spinning back fist landed at the buzzer causing a cut to the opponent. Through all the non stop action, these fighters somehow never get winded! NUTS!

3
- Gastelum vs. Adesanya
- Israel Adesanya | Decision
- 2019 | UFC 236
-
This fight starts with a steady pace of kicks and punches from both sides. Knockdowns are scored. The later rounds display stuns, knockdowns, submissions. If this fight goes another 15 seconds we get a KO. Crazy finish!!
-
4
- Rua vs. Henderson
- Dan Henderson | Decision
- 2011 | UFC 139
-
Sweet Jesus, this fight had everything! Blood and guts are on full display. You are really splitting hairs between this and if you have something above this for the best fight ever. This is an elite level fight!
-
5
- Usman vs. Covington
- Kamaru Usman | KO/TKO | Round 5
- 2019 | UFC 245
-
No take downs attempted, this was a very skilled high paced striking match. The first 2 rounds over 100 strikes thrown by each fighter! The only break from the action was a groin strike. Colby then suffered a broken Jaw and just kept going forward resulting in an absolute gut wrenching 4th round that still showed no signs of slowing. Bonus points for a knockout finish!
-
6
- Jones vs. Gustafsson
- Jon Jones | Decision
- 2013 | UFC 165
-
There is a bit of controversy about who wins this fight. Watching it again, the first 3 rounds are very technical. No one gets rocked. Just real technical steady action. Kicks by John, punches by Gus. The rounds could go either way. The fourth I thought Gus was winning before Jones hurt him with a spinning elbow towards the end. The first time in the fight someone looked really in trouble. Jones gets that round for sure. The fifth Gus looked gassed and Jones took that one too. I think the judges got it right in a very competitive fight.

7
- Gaethje vs. Poirier
- Dustin Poirier | KO/TKO | Round 4

A slug fest in every essence of the word. They got tired but kept swinging and put on a hell of a show
-
9
- Hunt vs. Silva
- Fight Ends in a Draw After 5 Rounds

Big shots, so much blood. This went back and fourth with momentum swings. You rarely see late rounds this entertaining in heavyweight fights.
-
10
- Whittaker vs. Romero II

Started slow but after that it just became a great fight! A tale of big bombs vs quick accurate strikes.
-
11
- Alvarez vs. Gaethje
- Eddie Alvarez | KO/TKO | Round 3 | UFC 218
-
The first two rounds are incredible, they clobber the hell out of each other. These guys were really beaten up by the 3rd and it showed. They slowed down a bit. I would have ranked it lower but it ended with a very nice KO!
