Very early list. Need to watch more fights from some of the older fighters. Heavily based around championship fights and objective accolades.

1
- Jon Jones
- "Bones"
- 27-1-0, 1 NC

Pretty confident in this ranking, would be a universally accepted placement if not for PEDs and reckless driving around carrying women.
-
2
- Georges St-Pierre
- "Rush"
- 26-2-0
-
His love and dedication to martial arts show in the octagon, having a very high fight IQ and well-refined techniques. I still need to watch more of his fights though.

3
- Khabib Nurmagomedov
- "The Eagle"
- 29-0-0

Difficult placement for me. I think he definitely deserves top 5 due to being untouched in the UFCs hardest division, but if you just look at the objective accolades, 1 title and 3 defenses isn't the greatest resume in MMA.

4
- Anderson Silva
- "The Spider"
- 34-11-0, 1 NC

An amazing fighter to watch. Although seemingly one-dimensional, he has undeniably one of the greatest championship runs of all time.
-
5
- Demetrious Johnson
- "Mighty Mouse"
- 25-4-1

I feel like I have a love-hate relationship with this pick. On one hand, Johnson's skill, creativity, and reflexes are quite something to behold, and 11 consecutive title defenses isn't a cakewalk. But for me personally, it feels almost bittersweet. Such a talented fighter in the worst UFC division ever. And it can be difficult to argue because he's a small dude, but his fight with Dominic Cruz proved that he was at least willing to compete in the bantamweight division. Why he didn't move up beats me. There's probably an espn article somewhere about it but I'm too lazy to look it up.
