  1. 1

    "Baruto Kaito" Baruto Kaito
    Baruto Kaito
    "Baruto Kaito"
    3-1-0
Baruto is at number one cause he has a win over Peter Aerts, which is the best win on this list.
  2. 2

    "Takanofuji Sanzo" Tsuyoshi Sudario
    Tsuyoshi Sudario
    "Takanofuji Sanzo"
    8-3-0
Sudario probably has the brightest future of all these the rikishi on this list (most of them are retired obviously). Dude has knock out power. With that being said he's pretty controversial due to him being banned from competing in sumo for striking an attendant. I'm not a fan of his personally.
  3. 3

    Emmanuel "Manny" Yarborough
    Emmanuel Yarborough
    "Manny"
    1-2-0
It might surprise some of you that Yarburough competed in amateur sumo but he in fact did.
  4. 4

    Koji "Mitsuharu" Kitao
    Koji Kitao
    "Mitsuharu"
    1-2-0
Much like Akebono, Koji Kitao is also a former Yokozuna albeit a controversial one (He's one of the few Yokozuna to ever be promoted despite never winning a yusho in the top division). He left the sport of sumo prematurely after being suspended for allegedly striking his stable master's wife. After his ban he had a brief stint in MMA fighting for notable premotions such as the UFC, Pride and Vale Tudo. He also dabbled in acting and pro wrestling.
  5. 5

    Akebono Taro
    Akebono Taro
    0-4-0
Akebono might be the best rikishi on this list but he sure isn't the best mma fighter. With that being said he fought some killers so all the respect to him.
  6. 6

    Satoshi "Takakenshin" Kamiyama
    Satoshi Kamiyama
    "Takakenshin"
    1-3-0
Brother of Tsuyoshi Sudario. He's was also banned from competing in sumo albeit for a lesser offense (marijuana). He hasn't really done much yet other than getting knocked out be an aging vet but in his defense he's still developing as a fighter.
  7. 7

    Teila Tuli
    Teila Tuli
    0-1-0
Tuli competed in the first ever UFC bout and then bounced. Fun fact, he played a reoccurring character in one of my favorite shows of the 2010s, Hawaii Five-0
  8. 8

    Kintaro "Great Sandstorm" Osunaarashi
    Kintaro Osunaarashi
    "Great Sandstorm"
    0-1-0
Kintaro is notable for being the first rikishi from Egypt and Africa as a whole. He was banned from the sport after he was found to have caused an accident while driving a car on an expired license (this is extra scandalous cause rikishi are not allowed to drive in the first place). After his ban he signed with Rizin and competed in a one-off bout with Bob Sapp which he unfortunately lost.
