    "The Last Emperor" Fedor Emelianenko
    Fedor Emelianenko
    "The Last Emperor"
    40-7-0, 1 NC
To go nearly 11 years undefeated as an undersized Heavyweight and beat essentially every top fighter in your era is truly something that will likely never be repeated by anyone. He defeated the likes of 5 UFC Heavyweight champions, 5 K1 champions and several Olympians. He even fought men who literally had 100lbs of weight over him, yet the Last Emperor would always finish the job. A true legend in the sport of MMA with one of the most legendary legacies ever, also one of the most respectful human beings alive.
  2. 2

    Georges "Rush" St-Pierre

    "Rush"
    26-2-0
The number 2 spot was very obvious to me. Maybe not to many casuals, but to the die hard fan and MMA journalists everywhere GSP is undoubtedly the best on paper. GSP has the most title fight wins in UFC history, the 2nd most wins in UFC history, won 33 consecutive rounds, avenged both of his losses (avenged Hughes 2x) and arguably fought in one of the most tough and stacked divisions during the time of his reign. He fought and beat the likes of BJ Penn 2x, Matt Hughes 2x, Thiago Alves, Jake Shields, Jon Fitch, Carlos Condit, Nick Diaz, Johnny Hendricks, Josh Koscheck 2x, Matt Serra, Sean Sherk, Frank Trigg, Karo Parisyan etc. He also was a clean athlete, he never tested positive for steroids or banned substances. He was accused of greasing once but he didn't actually do that, it was his cornerman. Georges is also a classy and respectful man. Deserving him rightfully of the number 2 spot.

    Jon "Bones" Jones
    Jon Jones
    "Bones"
    27-1-0, 1 NC
What can you say about Jones...? The man has some inner demons but he has never actually lost in the octagon. He was the youngest champion in UFC history, he defended his title 8 consecutive times before slamming into a pregnant woman, injuring her then running off. As a result he was stripped of his title, as he came back he had a decision win over OSP, but then got caught with estrogen blockers (probably to hide PED usage). Jones has the potential to be the greatest ever, his biggest enemy is himself. In my opinion the failed drug test for banned substances really hurt his legacy. Jones could easily be number 1 or 2 on this list if he would clear his act up.
  4. 4

    Anderson "The Spider" Silva
    Anderson Silva
    "The Spider"
    34-11-0, 1 NC
10 consecutive title defenses, longest win streak in UFC history. Silva is no doubt the gretaest Middleweight that ever lived. He even had some fights up at 205 just for fun. Other than that tho he has had his ups and downs in his career. He lost to questionable fighters in Pride early in his career, recently however he's been taking L after L it seems, and not just in fighting. In his Nick Diaz fight he tested positive for multiple anabolic steroids. He was finished twice by Weidman, beaten by Bisping, beaten by DC, and given a VERY questionable win against Derek Brunson. I feel from a GOAT standpoint Silva has severely diluted his legacy with losses and failed drug tests. We can never forget the records he broke and the way he finished a lot of top fighters tho.

    Randy "The Natural" Couture
    Randy Couture
    "The Natural"
    19-11-0
His record may not indicate it, but Randy was amongst the few people to hold 2 belts in 2 different divisions in his career. Doing it as a Light heavyweight and a heavyweight. Considering his age when he fought gives him a little more credit as well. He truly was a natural. He also choked James Toney out in the 1st round concluding that an experienced MMA fighter beats an experienced boxer more times than not. A true legend and nice man in the sport.
