A tough one to call Kingsbury has more experience in UFC fighting guys such as Stephen Bonnar and he has a clear height and reach advantage, but Teixeria has a solid record too and has a lot to prove in his debut.

teixeira has been fighting cans in brazil way too long, its about time he got a shot in the ufc. he'll come out strong and **** up kingsbury easy, who got a gift decision in his last fight against maldonado

^^^It's not his fault. He was invited to the UFC before, but visa issues ****** him up.

Kingsbury's improved a lot but I expect Teixeira to fulfill the hype.

this is my lock of the night .. Kingsbury will win this with ease in my opinion .. he is the much bigger man .. he has the longer reach and he had a very close fight with Fabio Maldonado but still he could not KO/TKO a gassed Kingsbury in the 3rd round .. I personally gave Kingsbury round 1 and 2 in that fight with fabio taking round 3 .. and he has been training at AKA with the likes of Daniel Cormier working on his take downs and TDD and he feels confident and ready for this fight .. he also has a solid chin and good stand up .. just needs to work a bit on his cardio .. during the Stephan Bonnar fight he was putting a beating on him in round 1 in the stand upuntil late in the round where Stephan Bonnar got a take down which he really had a hard time getting him down .. since then he has been extensively training at AKA with the likes of Daniel Cormier working on his take downs and TDD and he feels very prepared for this bout .

Teixeira is an average fighter with a little above average stand up perhaps ?! and he has mediocre take downs .. and he looks like he could easily cut down to 185 .. even 170 .. gonna be hard trying to get a guy much bigger and athletic then you down when you have look like you belong at least a division or 2 below the division you're fighting at .

Teixeira has been on a nice winning streak, but hasn't faced the competition that Kingsbury has.  Bad matchup I'm not sure why people are looking past Kingsbury.

Both men are extreme strikers with KO power but overall, Teixeira has the bigger potential in this fight. I say 2nd round TKO.

69% pick Teixeira when Kingsbury is like twice his size?

Going to awkward when Kingsbury weighs in at 410 then, I guess.

But unless he's a total "BJJ savant" like Rousimar Palhares, Teixiera has no business at 205 at this level, and needs to move down to 185 - at least.

Teixeira is 32 and with his fights pretty spread out, he hasn't taken too much damage.

Teixeira should be the big favourite... but Kingsbury does have the size.
